I was just about to buy a pair of gold, peep-toe slingback shoes from Nina to go with my wedding dress. But now thinking of the dress, it's white with a long taupe sash. I'm not convinced that taupe and gold match. What do you think? I'd prefer not to go silver or to dye shoes taupe...I'm buying Nina shoes because I'll get multiple wears out of them. Thoughts?

when i am trying to play squash. sometimes i try to beat her off with my racket but it dosnt allways work? how do i stop this carring on ,my balls are getting bruised and are now only good for 2 sessions a week. should i change sports were maybe bigger balls are used and she would find them harder to grab?

The founding tenets of Gaulibism are as follows:
1) There is only one true religion: Gaulibism. All other religions are just plain wrong + stupid. No arguments. Fact. Get over it.
2) Anyone who doesn't embrace "Gaulibism" will have bad luck all their lives and when they die they will have to spend 27 decades in the Hall of Shame where we will all laugh at them. Oh and after that, they will burn for eternity in, lets say, boiling orange juice.
3) Everthing about Gaulibism is true. It's bloody obvious. Don't try to think about it too carefully because that's Blasphemy. Just believe and you'll probably be OK.
4) Try to be nice to everyone. Unless of course they're not Gaulibilists, in which case, do what you like to them. If you really have to kill / rob / commit genocide, that's OK, but only if you proclaim that you are doing so "In the name of Gaulibism".
5) When I am dead, feel free to claim you knew me and make up further stuff and fight amongst each other.

My kids live with me and my husband his kids live with their mother and the other is married with kids of her own. For the last year we have had major issues with his kids as when they were down for the summer his son physically assualted my 6 year old and his daughter got mad and busted our tv after weeks of hell we sent them home. We know most of it is their mother nad the way they are raised at home but still we couldn't handle it. Now the holiday is here and we have done our shopping. We took the child support I get from my kids and bought their X-mas with it and as usual put the rest in the bank. My husband and I both refuse to use my kids money to buy his kids gifts. We then went when he got paid and bought his kids a few nice gifts. His kids suddenly appeared the other night to come down for the weekend to see their grandfather that is dying and saw that my kids had more under the tree and now they are mad are we right or should use kids money to even it out?

Today on the news there was a report about a elderly woman's Terrier mix that awoke her in the middle of the night because her furnace was smoking and spewing cabon monoxide. Apparently she never changed the batteries in the detector. The firemen said it would have meant certain death had the dog not done so. Do you have any similar stories of a dog that (wasnt trained )saved someone?

In the past week, i havnt been to active beacuse cross countrys over and its been cold outside so i didnt really go out to much, i have been eating alot, beacuse i have gone to a few partys, and just have been eating alot, and i notice im getting more hungry, beacuse im eating more...
my stomach has gotten big, and my bras felt tight, so i had to lossen them up a little bit..
i dont want people to see my belly beacuse its so big, it looks like i have gained 5 pounds...

After installer left, had no hot water in new kitchen sink. Had it elsewhere in house though. I adjusted supply valve and got mild lukewarm water and low flow. Also got big leak at supply valve joint so had to shut valve off. Now it's the weekend and will get no service til next week, what to do??

We just got an African Grey Parrot who at its previous home had dogs. We brought the bird home and it started eating and playing with its toys. Then we lets the dogs out. Our Jack Russell Terrier and our Bulldog. The Bulldog could care less. But our Jack Russell wants to eat it. The bird is not scared and just goes to the bottom of the cage and nips her nose. Whenever she looks we say no and when she puts her paws on the cage we spank her butt. Though the Jack Russell will not learn. We really want the parrot and the dogs to be friends. But for The Jack Russell it seems like an imposible task. We were thinking about getting a watergun and whenever she looks at the cage we squirt her with it. But we think that she might enjoy that. We really need help. What do we do to make the dog stop wanting to eat the parrot?
