because their need for love and acceptance is the driving force in their lives, you add some low self esteem and you have a deadly and easily manipulated combination. they look to everything but themselves for love and acceptance, so they give all of themselves unto what they see as love until there is nothing of them left. usually the form their search for love takes is lots of drama and histrionics, so that they become the center of attention in a negative way, because that's how they got love in the dysfunction of their youth. there are more than enough people who's personality plays right into that, and they do without even realizing it, as well as people that understand it and use it for their own purposes.

maybe because of the looks of the unfaitful person...or maybe because you liked that person before you knew that that person was unfaitful...

they like drama
they want to feel sorry for themselves
they truely love the person and hope the person will see that and love them back
they dont think they can get anyone else and are afraid to try
depression, poor self esteem
