I was just about to buy a pair of gold, peep-toe slingback shoes from Nina to go with my wedding dress. But now thinking of the dress, it's white with a long taupe sash. I'm not convinced that taupe and gold match. What do you think? I'd prefer not to go silver or to dye shoes taupe...I'm buying Nina shoes because I'll get multiple wears out of them. Thoughts?

I'm really not interested in white shoes, either. I'd never use them again. And I think of white shoes as boring and traditional. I'm a bit of a Sarah Jessica Parker dresser. And my accessories will be gold, so silver won't do. Taupe is a possibility.

Think you may be right about the taupe and gold not matching. Can you find anything comfortable in white? I know you may not get more wear out of them, but I think it might look better. Good luck and Congratulations!!
