Today on the news there was a report about a elderly woman's Terrier mix that awoke her in the middle of the night because her furnace was smoking and spewing cabon monoxide. Apparently she never changed the batteries in the detector. The firemen said it would have meant certain death had the dog not done so. Do you have any similar stories of a dog that (wasnt trained )saved someone?

When I was a kid we showed Shelties. One of our pups owners was out cutting down trees and a large limb fell on his leg and pinned him down. The Sheltie went home and got help.

Now my WHIPPETS would likely just think "Well.....now whose gonna get me my DINNER???" LOL!
