I'm allergic to formaldehyde and can't sit on my own couch! Probably the cheap particle board or something in the microfiber. I don't want to get rid of the couch, buy a new one, etc. Is there anything I can spray or treat it with that might reduce the formaldehyde fumes?

Britain`s Blue Badge guide system is a disgusting anachronism of the Middle Ages where guilds were set up to exclude genius and to support the usurpation of genius and/or secure mediocrity.

I run walks around London without benefit of a Blue Badge and have to laugh when some of the Blue Badges actually attempt to surpass me in areas of film and entertainment.

Hey, buddy, I interviewed Hitchcock. I knew him. What have you done? Passed a (******) test.

Give me a break.

hi i am new to this thing, so im not really sure how it works lol. but heres my question. i just recently got maried (about a week ago), and me and my husband are really trying for a kid. i am 22, and i was on bc until up to about 2 months ago, which is when we made the decision for children. my husband came inside me everytime we had sex. which was almost everyday, but im not sure when exactly i was ovulating which is why we tried so much. i was sure i got pregnant, my boobs hurt, i had to urinate all the time, i started taking prenatel pills and everything, i did take a test that was negative, but not remembering when exactly my last period was, i wasnt sure it had been long enouph. ne ways we had are hopes up, but than today i started my period. i was soo devistated. i thought for sure i was, and i know that neither of us are infertal because both have been checked. so i dont know what to do. i know that you ovulate 14 days after the 1st day of your period, but when does it end?

I'd like to find a way to properly rank items that have competed against each other. Sorting by percentage alone is not an option as lots of items will have only been in one match.

At my work, there's a guy who comes in all the time. I'm almost 20, he's in his younger 30s. He's very attractive. When he comes in, according to my coworkers, he'll casually look around, and if I'm not there, he'll just leave or not say anything. But, if I'm there, he looks at me, smiles, says hey and takes his time. He tries to get my attention, joining in my conversations, saying he thought I was talking to him. When we talk, he looks deeply into my eyes. He wanted to know about my thanksgiving (although I did ask him first). Recently he did some heavy lifting for us, because we weren't strong enough to do it.

Is it possible he's attracted to me? Sorry this is so long, a lot has happened! :) Thank you!

should friendship be for utility, pleasure, or based on goodness? Also which one is most enduring and more widely spread among western soceity? And finally is all worth it for all the misfortunes, and heartbreak including relationships. Are humans social animals if so why are we the most violent of creatures, and if we are social animals why do reject one another and become selfish when we know we can do better?

It's not all as simple as that though. I started to get to know this girl just after she broke up with this guy. They had been going out for 3 years and had split up because he was going to university. For about a month I got to know this girl and grew to love her. There was so much chemistry. Such an exciting spark. We flirted and had so much fun together. It was all fine until one night i told her i had feelings for her. She told me that she was in a difficult situation with her ex and that it was a bad time. That next week she went to visit him, and surprise surprise, they got back together! I am now MADLY in love with her. I still see her every day, and I'm going insane thinking about her all the time. When I'm with her it feels so right, and we both get on so well. When we hug it feels like we're both saying "if only". I can't walk away from this situation, and I really don't have the patience to wait and see if she breaks up with her boyfriend. What should I do?

A blind man finds his way to a barstool and orders a drink. After sitting there for a while, he yells to the bartender, "Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?" The bar
immediately falls absolutely quiet. In a very deep, husky voice, the woman next to him says, "Before you tell that joke, sir, I think it is only fair, given that you are blind, that you should know five things:
1 - The
bartender is a blonde girl
2 - The bouncer is a blonde girl
3 - I'm a 6 feet tall, 180-pound blonde woman with a black belt in karate.
4 - The woman sitting next to me is blonde and is a professional weightlifter
5 - The lady to your right is a blonde and is a professional wrestler. Now think about it seriously, Mister.
Do you really wanna tell that joke?" The blind man thinks for a second, shakes his head, and declares, "Nah.......... Not if I'm gonna have to explain it five times."

Just curious. I know Muslims are required to pray towards Mecca (5) times a day. In the news I see where Muslims want airports in the USA to provide prayer rooms for them. They say they deal with discrimination everyday because of their faith.

What do you think about this?

2nd Question: How would I be treated as a Christian in a Muslim country with my bible in hand? Could I open a bible store in Mecca?

thanks for your answer!

Besides having to worry about your credit score, now the Bush Administration has given you something else to worry about: your TERROR Score! Now Americans get a secret terrorism risk assessment assigned to them by a computerized government system. Your terror score will not be revealed to you and will remain part of your record for 40 years, yet the government will share that "information" with foreign governments. So now, if you go to get an automobile loan, can you imagine being told "I'm sorry, but your terrorism score is too high. We cannot give you a loan at this time. Come back in 40 years." My mother used to tell me I was a terror as a 5-year-old, but this is going too far.

Has the Bush Administration finally gone off the deep end with this terrorism nonsense?

It has been in such a condition for over 7 years, and I'm afraid of sending it to the dry cleaner's cos I don't turst them to clean it without shredding half its fur out. There's no mention anywhere on the web as to how to remove stains/dirt from stuffed toys. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
