The Taj Mahal, which is made of white marble, was built by King Sha-Jahan for his wife, Mumtaz, when she died. This was to show to all of Agra that his love for his departed wife was ever-lasting.

I think a group of 6 business men called the Rajas built it for their girlfriends called the Renes. It was probably way back in time, about 1960. I think Agra uses it today for a tourist attraction to make money for his Highness the Royal Prince. He is known to the Indians as the "Big Schmock".
