They have forgotten that mankind rose to the top of the food chain by being the most effective predator God ever devised.
Two hundred years ago, they would have gotten awfully hungry looking for fast food restraunts and grocery stores, wouldn't they?
The sanitized food at such outlets has already been killed, cleaned, and packaged for their convenience. They aren't do-it-yourselfers, and the practice of hunting killing and butchering is just too foreign to their "modern sensibilities".
Oh it's FINE, (as long as the slaughtering takes place in a FACTORY -somewhere THEY will never see- where farm -raised animals -with no chance to get away -meet their impersonal doom..) But they never hear about that.
They never think about what is on their plate. -They don't have to.
But the thought of some awful HUMAN, harvesting BAMBI,
-That just horrifies them. WE know hunters MANAGE THE HERD. WE know hunters FOLLOW A TRADITION.
WE would be able to FEED our families if tomorrow there WAS NO McDonalds or Kroger.
I wonder what they think THEY'D do?

Many people don't like hunting because they don't know that it actually helps the enviroment.
Example: If you have too many deer in one area the deer will eat all of the food the there is no food for the deer, and the other animals that depend on the food.
"Animal Acitviest" don't see that. They think that's it's cruel and mean, but really it helps the enviroment.
But, hunting can also hurt the enviroment when to many people take advantage of hunting and kill everything that they see. Then the animals start to go endangered

I think many people dislike hunting because they think it is inhumane. It's no different than slaughtering an animal at a slaughterhouse, or a chicken plant. Well, there is a difference, because the animal being hunted actually has a chance to get away. I think it's mostly just because they are ignorant.

Peolpe see hunting as torturing animals for the selfish prize of meat. They dont understand that hunting is just contoling the animal population to help future animals.

The way I see it, it's okay to kill something if it's for a reason. Stuffing it and putting it on a wall is not a good reason - feeding your family is. Also, as long as the animal is killed quickly, and as painlessly as possible. One reason so many people dislike it is because there are many people out there who have no respect for the animal they are killing. If something has to lose its life, at least make good use of it.

The anit-hunters are the ones who love all animals and cant see any harm done to animals, my dad is like that, so I dont talk to much hunting around him. I did once and he got really angry, over deer, so I just dont mention it anymore. Most people who love animals associate deer and wild life with domestic pets, I guess they love them all.

Because we have a lot of bleeding heart anti's on here that are stuck in the city, much like a cow in a pasture. They live in their own little worlds, oblivious to how other people live life.I'm going to keep on hunting and fishing, and I'll be certain to pass it on to my kids when the day comes.I really don't want them reliant on society like our city folk on here are.

Meat from Wal-Mart is killed!!! In Montana, hundreds of cattle, covered in feces are directed to an arena with wet floors. After all doors and safety devices are closed, they run low current electricity through said floors. Some cattle die inside of 5 minutes, other end of the extreme 30 minutes of low voltage electricity. One shot from my rifle, animal dead? If it were you, which would you choose? Hunting has been a part of my heritage. My children were raised on venison, they were raised as I was. My best memories of my father and grandfather were in the field either hunting or fishing. I expect, after seeing my kids' eyes light up that they will say the same thing when I'm gone. Hunting saves me thousands of dollars per year and allows me to spend time with my kids that many other fathers never take advantage of! I will give up hunting when they (all of the non-hunting, do it my way or else nambie-pambie types) pry my cold dead fingers from around my weapon. Everyone's welcome to their own opinion but don't force it on me.

Rosie Odonnell and her Feminist brain washing.

That and they have no idea what a cow goes through when it is slaughtered in the industry. What we do to them is nothing to what a slaughter house does.

You ever wonder how so many of the animals we kill would die if we didn't get to them? Starvation, mauling and dieing from a viscious tearing wound. I kill clean, swift... Like the wind. Yes, i kill like the wind. Hmmm.... Cool.....
