Help?!! I've asked recently about leaving bf baby behind while going away for five days on a business trip. Baby takes bottle and formula like a champ so no worries there and I have pumped enough extra milk so she will have breast milk while I am away. I also have a breast pump and will have no problems pumping every 2 to 3 hours entire time I am gone to keep up milk........Here is my problem: Today baby started cluster feeding she has been at me for 7 hours. When not nursing she is screaming hungry. I think she has hit her 3 month growth spurt and is feeding more to build up my milk. Problem is that it is saturday and I am leaving Monday. How long will this build up nursing last? If it goes beyond monday will I be able to catch up when I get back on friday? I am very worried about accidentally weaning her early and having enough milk for her.

At what age did you introduce a food other than milk or formula to your baby?

What was it?

My baby's almost 4 months old. She weighs 16 pounds now. (8 pounds at birth) Smiles, laughs, squeals, coughs because she knows it causes attention to her, pretty sure she said "Hi" today, coos, reaches for things, holds onto things, can support her own weight, looks around for people who WERE there but disappeared, sleeps pretty well at nights. She's been strickly on milk. Tried the cereal-in-the-milk thing out a couple months back, but with no success. Any tips or input?

but the dots are also on her eyelids quite a bit. She is recovering from an eye infection as well, could this be related? or an Allergy?
It doesnt seem to bother her though.

My daughter is 7 days old and just got out of the hospital after treatment for jaundice. Her skin still looks yellow or orange, even though the doctors said she's now within normal levels. I want to have her portrait taken in time for Christmas, but I don't want her to look like a pumpkin in her first pictures!

Any suggestions of colors to wear /backgrounds to use and which to avoid? She has dark brown hair and blueish eyes.

We didn't know if she was a boy or girl, so most of her clothes are white or yellow and they don't suit her yellow skin tone.

My son is 5 months old, right now he weighs 21lbs, and is 27 1/2 inches tall... He already has his left front bottom tooth in and the other one should be breaking the surface sometime this week.. He's been rolling over both ways front to back and back to front since he was 4 months... He's also been holding his bottle and his spoon when we feed him. He can already scoot across the floor and he pulled himself to his feet today while we were playing.. I don't think he knew that he had done it.. he had this really suprised look on his face.. Is this normal, or was he in my belly too long?? Any other opinions would be very helpful..

Ok me and my wife are having a dilemma. I want my newborn to drink from a Playtex Vent flow/Air flow bottle because its less air in the bottle and less burps, and hiccups. She says that the Avent is better and wants to give our newborn that. I see the avent bottle no different than a 99cent bottle I can buy at the 99 cent store. So which one really is better??????????

I was in the store and saw the ALL for baby detergent for the 2 gallon was priced at $9 while the Dreft for half the size was priced at $9 so as far as money saving went I said to myself I can do double the loads by purchasing the ALL. Now I am reading that the Dreft is pediatrician recommended blah blah blah so does this really make a difference??? or is it just about $$$$$ people will believe in a product more if a couple doctors say its ok. what do you guys think?

My daughter is 10 months old. I love watching her grow up...however, at the same time I feel kind of sad...the more independent she gets, the more I feel sad that I don't have a little baby anymore. Dont get me wrong...I LOVE that she is maturing and I enjoy her so much...It just feels bittersweet because I know her "baby days" are numbered. Today she fell asleep in my arms and she hasnt done this for months. It was so wonderful and sweet. I just know that those times are coming to an end...I am glad that she is growing, but I just feel sad too...Just wondering if any other moms out there have felt this way?

I'm interested in working with babies, but I don't know if I could deal with working in ICU because I would hate to see all those poor babies in such horrible conditions.
