I think it is way too early for you to be trying to induce labor, if those are your intentions. You have at least 8 weeks left to go. The earlier your baby is born the more complications he/she could have. I know being pregnant is uncomfortable, but think how hard it would be to have a baby that is sick.

Castor Oil can make you go into labor...and ten weeks is a lot of time...You do not want to risk having your baby this early

Why in the world would you want to try to induce yourself at 30 weeks? This is far too early. Baby isn't considered full term until 37 weeks. A 30 week baby would be in the NICU for a long time. Please be patient and leave your baby where he is to grow.

My pediatrician said not to use castor oil at all. The glycerin suppositories are your best bet!

Yes, it could!! Your baby's lung may not be fully developed! He/She will come when he is ready. I wouldn't do anything to risk the health of my child.

FYI- if you were to go into labor they would most likely give you steroid shots and something to STOP the labor. Typically they want you to be ATLEAST 35 weeks along!

I take it your baby can't do-do. I would suggest Glycerin
Suppositories. I used them on my baby and they worked. Sometimes you have to be patient and re insert them. You can get them at a drug store, and they aren't as harsh as castor oil.
