Ok me and my wife are having a dilemma. I want my newborn to drink from a Playtex Vent flow/Air flow bottle because its less air in the bottle and less burps, and hiccups. She says that the Avent is better and wants to give our newborn that. I see the avent bottle no different than a 99cent bottle I can buy at the 99 cent store. So which one really is better??????????

The airflow bottles are impossible to keep clean, and a lot of them leak.
Avent bottles are excellent. The science is rarely in the bottle, but in the nipple.
Dr. browns are excelent, but avent makes a line thats the same concept.

I use both the Airflow and Avent, and both seem okay to me. My son is about 7 weeks and his burps are much easier now, no matter which bottle.
The Playtex with the drop-in liners are where it's at, though! Throw 'em away when you're done, and because they are open on the bottom with the liner you can press the air out yourself and be certain there is a minimum in there for baby. They are fantastic.

I used playtex for a while and didn't like them.. or my son didn't. I switched to Dr. Browns and loved them. They are a pain to clean but if you have a dishwasher and get a dishwasher basket it isn't that bad. He was VERY colicky in the begining and I saw a difference after switching to Dr. Browns. I have heard that Avent are good bottles though.

When I had my daughter, I tried one of all bottles and the one that worked best for me was the Avent.

I used Avent and liked it too. I don't know if they make one with a liner but if they do use that. Bottles with liners are sooooo much easier.

I have used Avent with all four of mine and we have never had a gassy or colicky baby. I don't really have anything to compare them to, but they worked great for us. Good luck!

We used the Playtex and there great. Easy to take apart and clean. Never had any problems and their highly recommend for babies with reflux.

I used the Playtex Vent Aire with my son and they worked great..No gas or fussiness...Didn`t have any problem keeping them clean either..One of you two will have to give in!!!

neither.....get the dr. browns natural flor bottles....they are much better........
