Babies should NOT have Motrin until they are over 6 months old. Use Infant Tylenol only!!!!!

YES, Infants motrin ONLY!!!!!!!! NO adult or children's doses. But yes, doctors tell you to switch between tylenol and motrin when they are sick. Just get the INFANTS! motrin. Sorry, but some people think that children's or adult's is fine and it's not, I just wanted to emphasize to have infant's and ask your pediatrician how much to give.

no it is not safe to give motrin until the baby is at least 6 months old. before then, you can give tylenol (aceteminophen) but nothing with ibuprofen in it.

You need to call the baby's doctor.....although they're likely to tell you not to do it. If anything, give the baby Tylenol at the lowest dosage....

No, take him/her to see the doctor. There isn't a proper dosage for someone that little.
