My brother has been throwing up alot lately and I am worried cause first of all , I dont know what is the mater with him and second of all I am afaird that it may mess up the enamel of his teeth cause we learned in a class that when you throw up acid in your stomach or something ruins the enamel. Is that the same for babies?

I am on vacation and have no idea where a doctor is out here , nor my mom she thinks he may have a ear infection cause he wont eat and is very irratible and the same thing happened with my brother (older than this one) who lost part of his hearing due to not getting the right medicine.

in infants it might mess up the first set of the teeth enamel but the good thing is those teeth are replaced when the child gets older. I would worry more about his health then his teeth at this point if your parents had another child with the same simptoms i think they need to take care of the problem NO matter where they are and if that means leaving vacation early they might think about doing that.

Yes, as well as his stomach and throat. It's not a horrible thing if it's infrequent, but if it's constant it can do damage. Given you're vacationing where you can get Internet access, you most assuredly can also find a doctor (just ask a local!) and buy a toothbrush from a convenience store for him.
Anyway, given his age any of the teeth he has are still baby teeth and any damage caused to them by vomit won't show up in his adult teeth.
I also suggest stop feeding him junk food while he's sick. Popcorn? French fries? Veggies exist for a *reason*.

The acid in your stomach does eat away at your teeth when you vomit alot. Bulimics (people who eat alot then throw up to get then) have alot of dental issues. Your brother should always brush his teeth after he throws up. A.) It'll improve his breath :P
B.) It will get the acid off his teeth, and any particals that could eat away at it.
(If he is a baby, which it appears he may be, sorry just read it, His mouth should be wiped out with a warm rag.)

Take him to a doctor first then worry about his teeth later. I would seriously be worried about his throwing up/sickness before i would be thinking about the enamel on his teeth.

W-Wait... What is he throwing up, first of all? If it's some food or something, that' sok, he's going to be fine. But... if it's blood or some other liquid, call the doctor immidietly. I don't wanna freak you out in any way, but he might have turbeculosys. ;_;
