switch to a sippy cup!!
doctors want babys off bottles by a year any way!
so hes on a good track.
you may have to try several types before you find one that he likes.
but if he dont want that bottle any more way to go for him!!!
its useually difficult to get them to stop wanting it!!
so be thankful that hes weaning himself from it and you dont have to go thru trying to talk him out of it!!

Throw the bottles out and get him a spoon. He will probably learn to manage one of those spill proof cups quickly. Surely he's eating some strained food by now. Don't try to force him to take the bottle, count your blessings on that.

at ten months my son was also doing that. i'd been giving him a sippy cup between meals and bottles etc incase he was thirsty, and around 11 months i couldn't make him drink one bottle, and he wouldn't drink formula out of a sippy. he went on regular milk and table food from then on.

Start giving him a sippy cup. My son did this once, but he was a lot younger and it was because he was teething.

Go to a tippy cup. He may be weaning himself away.
