Hi, I took clomid, at age 23, because I couldn't fall pregnant due to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Drs advised me that I probably wouldnt be successful. Didn't really have too many side effects, may have been a bit more hormonal (expected really!), and put on a little bit more weight than usual. But yes, it did work, and I produced loads more eggs on it. It took me about 6 months to become pregnant, which was a complete surprise because I had convinced myself that it wouldnt work!
But!! After having my son (who is now 6), I fell pregnant again, when he had just turned 1 - without any Clomid! Then fell pregnant again, 2 years later. I now have three beautiful sons! Age 6,4 and 1 - the latter 2 were complete surprises. It would seem that using the Clomid for my first pregnancy kick-started my system for my second 2!!
Good luck, hope this helps.

Hi
I've been on Clomid now for about 9 months. I'm beginning to even wonder why as it does not seem to work for me. It does however regulate my periods and helps for ovulation which is definitely beneficial. I know 2 others who were on Clomid, 1 of them was pregnant after the first month. I have no side effects from Clomid either.
Good luck! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. In my case I don't believe it's the Clomid not working as much as me just trying to not stress about it. That's the hard part.

I took clomid the cycle I got pg. We had tried for 12 months and could not get pg. First cycle of 50mg and we got pg. I took the clomid at night before bed and really didnt have any s/e. I did gain a little. If you take clomid I have heard that its best to take a baby aspirin with it. When you start the clomid start the baby aspirin and keep taking the baby aspirin the whole cycle. Also clomid might dry things up down there. If it does you could try evening premrose oil. HTH baby dust.

it is the 2nd month I actual have been on clomid. final month I took 50 mg of clomid on day 5-9. I ovulated on cd 23. This month i'm taking 50 mg of clomid on day 4-8, observed by way of estrodoil on day 9-12. i'm hoping this may well be the month! i did not have any symptons on an identical time as taking clomid, even if my AF became into heavy this month with a good number of cramping the 1st day.

Clomid no not work.
Try using honey & cinnamon, lose weight and drink water.
Believe me that worked well for me.

It was successful for me it took six months. I didn't have any side effects apart from the fact that i was nervous constantly cos i wanted a baby so bad. It horrible to need to take these pills just to do the most natural thing in the world but stick in there when you do have a baby it only makes the love for your child stronger. I really hope you are successful. I wish you all the luck in the world petal i really do i know what its like to see other people with babies and feel jealous and resentful because you want your own so much. I think because of the wait it made me a better mum. i really do. It Will happen for you. Gud luck xx

well... i have a 16 yr old son, and was on clomid, for a wee while..
the thing with trying to concieve is, its all out of your control, unless you are trying... and the harder you try, the harder success becomes.
clomid/clomiphine did work for me, eventually, but my hubby had problems too, so we were a mixed bag!
pregnancy is amazing, and after i had alex,12 months later i concieved naturally, but miscarried..
never again did i get pregnant, so was sterilised at 35! i wanted too much, and it was screwing me up..
im happy to have our son, even tho he is a complete pain in the backside, and drains us financially!
try not to try too much..
its all in the mind hun..
but trying to relax is a stress in itself.
good luck, and dont give up
