I suppose it would if you did it constantly with no relief with intent to be abusive. A normal amount of tickling induces laughter and joy in a baby.

The only reason for a baby to go "crazy" while being tickled is if you are doing it on a flat surface and they lose control (not being aware of their surroundings) and rolling around, possibly of a bed. Another thing to take into consideration is that the baby needs some time beween to breathe (not having that will make anyone crazy).

A little chcck under the chin or on the stomach, behind the ears, bottomof babies tootsies can be fun for baby, but you should not get carried away and make your baby uncomfortable, but I doubt if you would actually drive your baby CRAZY and why would anyone want to tease an infant so much as to make them cry??

I doubt it, as long as you don't get carried away, acutally the chances are much higher that the baby will like being tickled so much they'll always want you to do it, making YOU go crazy ;)

wow.
In an act of normal tickling of a baby, the child will likely respond to the attention, the adult cooing, and the adult smile by smiling in return.
Many babies who were tickled as children maybe be profoundly ticklish as adults because of their response to the adult smiling: their brains immediately smile or laugh when tickled because as children, it had been associated with a smiling, laughing adult whom they mimicked.
just a thought. . .

No, it makes them happy. It also helps to develop their muscles, through contraction. They'll grow up happy and strong.
