I certainly don't mind doing it, and will... she deserves it. But my mother insists it's customary. However, I've never heard of it.

Is this normal? After a change and feed, he's only up for like 10 min. Sometimes he starts to get tired in just 45 min. At night he's sleeping from 7p to 7a with a middle of the night waking/feeding that is brief.

He was diagnosed with rsv last week, until then they hadn't checked and thought it was broncholitis. When they finally diagnosed that they had given him a nebulizer, yet here it is a week later and he still is having a lot of wheezing, congestion, and cough. He's 10 months old and still active, but anytime he's been sick he's been active. I don't understand why they won't listen to me and help him. I told them he was having trouble sleeping at night too and they pretty much acted like I was lying. They said he has asthma too possibly and put him on pulmicort two days ago but nothing seems to be helping the breathing / congestion. They said it would just take time, but this is also the doc that didn't check him for rsv and said there was nothing else that could be done until I took him to the ER and they said he needed the neb at home if nothing else. They thought about keeping him. What can be done at this point. Please answer very concerned mother here.

my baby was crying a lot. especially when ever we tried lay her on the bed or in hand. she was having gas problem. Doctor suggested to give colicaid for releaseing gas. after we fed colicaid syrup, unusually she started drinking the milk continously for more than 30 minutes. when we stopped the breast feeding, it started crying again. so we fed with lactogen. she drunk that. after that also not stopped crying. then we thought she may have ear pain. So we put ear drops. then also she cried. then we put coolimax drops for stomach pain. then also she was crying. then finally we put paracetamol three drops. after that she started sleeping in the night. we struggled almost 4 to 5 hours in the night. what would have happened. why did she drink the milk so much? why she started crying, whenever we stopped feeding. Can we give paracetamol to a 20 days old baby.

Just curious as to what you do with your 9 month old...what type of games...activities, etc?? I just feel like I'm doing the same things everyday...and its getting kind of boring for me...as I'm sure it must be with my daughter. She is just starting to walk so she really enjoys to walk around...but what types of games to play with her or things to teach her? Very active child...btw. Thanks in advance.

Since he was about 10 months old and up until last month, he'd been sleeping in his own bed and in his own room through the night without any problems. Recently, it's just been a nightmare. He gets up almost every hour crying and screaming for us to hold him until he falls asleep. I've tried moving him into our room and into our bed, but it hasn't solved the problem. He still wants to be cuddled to sleep. He's perfectly fine - it's not what we feed him, not teething, not illness, not a growth spurt...We just can't figure it out! We need our sleep! Advice anyone?

I also try giving her some juice and she takes a couple sips and goes back to sleep. I am so tired throughout the day by waking up 8 times a night and I will also be starting a new job soon.. Any suggestions????

My son is four months old and his pediatrician said I could begin to introduce solid foods to his diet if I'd like...I started him on rice cereal, bananas, and apples, all at different times but they all seem to aggitate him..They either make him gassy or constipated. I am wondering if maybe it's too early to start solids or if there are other foods that I should try. Any suggestions?
