I am 31 and have yet to bear children. I have never felt ready in the past. I know a lot of people say in their 20's is best, but I took that time to find who I was and enjoy my 'singleness'. Not that children are a burden, but I believe (especially in today's society) that we have so much time. Taking on children and building a family is a huge decision and a lot of work! Why would I rush into a pregnancy that I wasn't ready for, just because of my age? Every person is different. Each person has their own time lines of what is a good age and what is not. I choose to enjoy my life in the way that I feel is best for me. So at my age, I feel better than ever that I chose to wait. I wouldn't change a single decision that I have made. And hopefully in a few years, I will feel ready to have children and that will be the perfect age/time for me. I'm sure you will find the same for you.... you will know the right time when you get there ;)

At the age when you and your husband know you have a lasting relationship, you have a firm financial situation with insurance and a plan on how you want to bring your child up. At the age you feel you are prepared to deal with a handicapped child and can provide whatever it may need. At the age you are prepared to raise the child alone in case something happens to your partner. At the age when you are ready to settle down and put the child's needs ahead of your own wants to go out and party. At the age where you feel you are a good person and citizen and are capable of being a good influence on your child and raising them to be a mature and contributing citizen!

That depends on the individual. Physically, the best time is before the age of 26 when a woman starts the aging process. Before 26 is the time of life when you can bounce back the easiest.

Can't specifically say a certain age is the best ~ it depends on your mind set and if you're capable of handling a child ~ although, sometimes the best things come unexpectedly! :) Regardless of your age, you SHOULD be married and financially and mentally capable of being responsible for another human being that will be completely dependent on you!

With today's technology, you can wait until you're ancient to have children, so there's no rush. However, biologically, a woman is at her child bearing prime around age 25. From them, fertility declines a teeny bit each year, though women have children naturally far later. Medically, pregnancies are more closely watched after age 35 since they're considered a bit more high risk.

there isnt a best age, it all depends on the person and where you are in life. from my experience i would have loved to have been with college first, its alot harder now. having kids doesnt end your life just throws in some challenges, so as long as your able to handle them. in my opinion, you should be done with school, married, good job-not have to live off government to support family. i cant stand people who are like 18-21 who have 3-4 kids already with different people and dont work. see it everyday at the hospital, pisses me off. kids are huge responsibility, you cant be ready because they arent predictable. as long as your responsible and mature and have patience i think your good.

Well I was 21 when my daughter was born, and my husband was 23, I think thats a good age. But it really depends on how mature the people are some arent grown up at that age yet.
