I suppose it could be bitter depending on what the mom eats and drinks, but mine was always sweet. I have friends and cousins who have told me that theirs is sweet too. I've never heard of anyone's being bitter, but that doesn't mean it has never happened.

It is very, very sweet. However it can have other flavours in it, like garlic or currey. So I guess it could be a little bitter, but it has a tonne of sugar so the underlying flavour would always be sweet.

It can be either. It depends on the mother's diet. Vegetables will make it more bitter. Sweets and carbs will make it more sweet.

Normally it is quite sweet. Sometimes as sweet as maple syrup! The taste is also affected by what the mother eats. At the beginning of the breastfeeding, the milk is sweeter and more like water, then it gets creamier and blander.

All women's breast milk is sweet except for Lady MacBeth's and other murderous ones'. Theirs is very bitter.

"Come, you spirits
That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here
And fill me from the crown to the toe top-full
Of direst cruelty!
...
Come to my woman's breasts
And take my milk for gall, you murd'ring ministers,"

I think it's always sweet. Mine was very sweet, and sticky. I've never heard of bitter breastmilk.

I bought Mothers Milk teabags from GNC and I felt a difference 12 hrs later. Also bought fenugreek herbal tablets from GNC, but the tea worked better.

it depends..what ever you ate the day you breast feed the milk will have a similar taste. for example if you ate a spicy type food the milk will also be midly spicy but it would not affect the baby...thats just one of mother natures mysteries..
