Im having a 1st b-day party for my daughter on Sunday at a town hall. They dont allow alchohol, it didnt bother me because DUH its a kids party and certain people are wiggin because no beer.?!!?

i am due in 7 days and i feel like she never going to come and i dont want to be late i am dieing to see what she look like and hold her and start being a mom - i feel her head there and i get little cramps but nothing big - i want to the doctor 2 days ago and i am dilate 1cm u think i am going to be late

My son is almost 8 months old and was breastfed until he was 7 months. I was pumping and giving him breast milk in the bottle since he was 3 months old (his preference). Now he's completely on the formula and doing fine. I don't get engorged breasts with lumps anymore when I don't pump, but when I do, I still produce milk. Should I pump even less often or completely stop, so whatever milk I have in my breasts gets burned?

Before I got pregnant I was 147 pounds and while I was pregnant I blew up to 206. Now 4 weeks after giving birth I'm 181. But I want to lose more. So how long did it take for you guys?

We named our first son Anson. Then when our second son arrived, we named him Andy without check the meaning of the name(We are foreigner). Now we found out that accroding to Bible, Anson is the son of Andy. So we just don't know if we should change my second son's name or not. If we need to do so, what can we do with his birth certificate and his passport(we already got his passport)? Thank you very much for your opinion!!!

I have a 21/2 month old baby girl and since the day we brought her home she hasn't liked sleeping in her craddle or crib. The only thing she will sleep in is her swing. I feel horrible leaving her in her swing at night but thats the only way my husband and I can get any sleep. My family tell me its just because she's spoiled and I need to quit doing it, but when i lay her in her crib she screams and will not quit until I pick her up. This is my first baby and I sometimes feel like I don't know what I'm doing. So if anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate the help.

Here is my dilemma, I haven’t had my baby yet, but need some advice. My mother in law and I dont agree on most parenting subjects. With my son regardless of what I wanted, she did whatever she wanted with him, i.e. fed him foods I didnt want him to have yet, smoking around him (big no no in my book) things of that sort. When my son was a baby, they never kept him over night, they lived a quarter mile away and saw him often. Well my in laws have moved 2.5 hours away from us. They get my son at least one weekend a month and keep him for 3-4 days. Not too fond of him going that far away for that long, but they are his grandparents and I dont want to deprive either of a relationship. They didnt start keeping him overnight until he was 2. I know I do not want them to keep my newborn baby overnight. They smoke in their cars, in their house and around my son, I dont want my baby around that. What do I do? Suck it up, or stand my ground? How do I avoid it nicely? Thanks!!

My son is 19 months old and still sleeps in the bed with us. he could be dead to the world, but as soon as you put him over the bars of his crib he starts screaming like a maniac. we have a queen size bed and there isnt enough room for me, my boyfriend, my belly and our son. i never get any sleep and it think it is past time for my son to start sleeping in his own bed. what so i do? i have tried putting him in there and just letting him cry but he climb out and im afraid that he will hurt himself. im not extremely over protective but i do over do it from time to time. and i HATE to hear him cry. i need help. what do i do?

I usually use liquid formula, but I was given a can of powdered, so I figued I would use it up. I like to prepare several bottles at once, but I am unsure how long it is good for in the fridge once it is prepared. The label does not list this information.

Please no answers about how breast milk is best. I am unable to breastfeed, and don't need anyone judging me, nor trying to make me feel any worse than I already do.

my son J.J is 4 months months old. I have tried everything to get his colic undercontrol. I have tried fennel tea, soft music and sometimes just let him be.... he is up all hours of the night and day. It got sooo bad, I have even tried to knock him out... I need any advice I canget...please help!!!

i went to the doc went to the er and they all say it's stomach flu.But this has been goign on for 4 days now. And over all he doesn't seem uncomftrable,he eats fine,but as soon a you pic him up put him on your shoulder burp him,he thows up. I would this if it wasa stomach flu he would be uncomftrable as soon as the food hit his stomach. I though of reflux, but he never had that why would it start now. What could this be? His stomach growls alot as well. Doctor mentioned stenosis,but how likely is it that he just developed it? he is not dehydratin, but you can tell he is in pain when throwing up

Everyone is so adamant about the use of a bassinet i guess just because the newborn looks more secure in it since its smaller. Since you went straight to a crib what measure did you take to feel comfortable with this choice? I know there is swaddling for the little ones, but anything else you did?

Well I am in need of some help.
I gave birth to my baby, 15 wks early. Poor little baby only survived 2 1/2 days. That is besides the point of this tho...My breasts are really hard and hurt unbelieveably. Im not sure what to do. I do have a breast pump, just need to sterilize it. But do I have to pump now? Or if I pump, will milk keep coming?? I am really unsure about all of this. So much to think about right now and wow this is something that is so hard to deal with. But if anyone has any answers on what to do, please let me know. I'm thinking of going to the hospital cuz I just am not sure what to do. But if anyone can give me a heads up on how to go about this, then maybe I don't have to go. Please get back to me.

during the day my 4 monthold wont sleep during the day. ive done everything, from a warmbath, driving in th car, letting him cry, walk in his stroller, feeding til hes to ful, patting on the butt, rocking him, everything. he wakes up at 5;00 in the morning and doesnt go back to sleep til 8 at night.does anyone have any sugestions.
