Is there a way to tell if your child has allergies? I think my 2 month old son may be allergic to our cats or our dog....

I have always heard that most children do not show allergies until they get older. ( six years old or older)

Baby's can show allergies. They won't test your baby yet, he is to small and the tests aren't nice. Tell your doctor and follow his advice. For now I would try to clean more often to protect your baby. Don't let the animals in the bedroom and make sure they cannot get into places where you put your baby down.

Yes, take them to an allergy specialist, and they will do a test to see wat the baby is allergic to. If you dont know any allergy specialist, ask your pediatrician to refer you to one. Hope this helps :)

I suppose if his eyes water, or his nose runs, and he's constantly rubbing at his face, it's possible. I don't know what kind of symptoms he's exhibiting, but it's always a possibility. Take him to the pediatrician, but beware, he/she may tell you to nix inside pets.
