I found lots of really inexpensive baby gear at Big Lots. Also try checking out garage sales. Remember, your little one won't be in that swing or bassinet very long, so why spend a fortune. Make sure to sanitize anything bought from a garage sale. Check all gear for signs of defects or overuse. Then search online to make sure the item hasn't been recalled.

I bought my grandson some things at a resale store called Once Upon a Child. Most of them were brand new with the tags still on.

for clothes: jcpenney, sears, old navy, k-mart. jcpenney and k-mart are always having amazing sales and they have the cutest clothes. for everything else you might just have to shop around and watch out for sales. you can find bargains all over the web.

the weather change means yard sales!! shop early and stock up on all the things you will need. use word of mouth -ask your girlfriends if they have things they can share or sell you. look in the phone book for a 2nd children's store in your area.
