My daughter is a VERY happy baby, she smiles and laughs all day long and settles quite well for her nighttime sleep, however some nights I hear her cry out in her sleep, when I go check on her she is fast asleep. It usually only happens once or twice and thats it... Should I be concerned?!?

Baby is 4 months old, has full head of hair EXCEPT in a small circular patch in back near the top of her head. The patch is only about 1-2 cm across and has no hair growing from it.

I had an internal fetal monitor during my labor, and the spot is about as big around as the wire coil they used for the monitor.

Anyone else have IFM and baby has a bald spot? Anyone have IFM and baby does NOT have a bald spot?

I had read that breastfeeding helps in weight loss but nursing is causing me to gain weight. I have gained almost 8 pounds since my baby was born. He is 4 months. I get hungry after I nurse and if I don't eat I notice a lower supply. Its a vicious circle :(
I have almost 8 meals a day after every feeding my baby takes.
Any advice tips so that I eat well for a good milk supply yet won't gain too much weight.

Did you know sign language before teaching your baby or did you learn along with your baby? What age did you start? What age did they start signing back? Would you recommend it? Do you think it helped your baby? Did they speak later than normal? Did you see less tantrums? What products can you recommend? Did you teach American Sign Language or did you teach a "baby" form of sign language that has some different signs than ASL? Thanks.

I've heard this, but am not sure if it's true! Will your breast milk go sour if you go to the gym?

My baby is almost 8 months and since I had her I HAVE TO wear a belt...
My pants just sag off my hips!
I know my body has changed (hips bigger), does anyone else experience this?
Is it because of the bigger hips?

I have a 5 week old who has hardly ever slept since birth! She fights sleep like crazy and as soon as I put her down her eyes open wide and her limbs start flailing! We cannot get her to sleep for more than 30 minutes to an hour at a time. We have tried everything... soothing music, white noise, humidifier, (she hates to be swaddled), putting her down awake and letting her cry, rocking her, singing to her, sleeping in the same bed, lying her on my chest to sleep (her basic needs are all met of course). I don't know what to do... I know she's tired because she yawns all of the time. She doesn't have colic because she is consolable, but only for a short time. Has anyone else ever encountered this problem? I'm losing it! Please any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Her legs are very wide. Wider than an adults waiste. The averagle wagon isn't big enough. I need to find a way to get her out and about in the neighborhood since they don't make a carseat or stroller for her. She can't sit up at all and that is my last hope. Any Suggestions....Please. She will be in her cast for 3 months. She is 9 months old now.

She wakes up several times a night and after being fed and changed will not got to sleep unless we hold her. After we put her back in the bed she immediately wakes up and cries. This usually happens before we even get out of her room. By the time she stays down she only sleeps about 30 minutes before waking up for her next feeding. It takes us 90 minutes or two hours to get her to sleep.

She is 2 1/2 months old and gets really excited if you put a bib on her to feed her a bottle. But when she nurses she wants to be attached on either side for a half an hour each. It's draining all my energy. So I try to feed her 2 bottles of formula a day with nursing inbetween. Is this normal or should I just nurse her?
