what do you do when you and a half months think your having a girl for 8 and half months and its a boy?

Get an ultra sound, or be surprised.

With a girl they are never "sure", but with a boy if they see a little "peanut" down there then its DEFINATELY a boy! With girls though you can never be sure, because something could be hiding, so they will say 90% sure. Most girls are "camera shy" and wont let you get a good look during the ultra sound... thats the way my daughter was at 19 weeks, but last month at 32 she was so big and in the head down position that the doc was able to get a PERFECT shot of what he called "hotdog buns" which pretty much confirmed the female gender.

Laugh about it, return the clothes you bought ( and tell them the story), buy some boy clothes, and NEVER tell your son that the docters thought he was a girl!!!!!!

i had the opposite happen, i was convinced i was having a boy. dreams, feelings etc.

then my daughter arrived. of course all that matters is that the baby is healthy. you just count your blessings and get on with it.

oh man-I would honestly have cried.
not that I would love the little guy any less-but I had my heart set on a girl-the first thing I said when she was born was 'is it still a girl'?
