Cow's milk (and other animal milk) is incredibly hard if not impossible for babies to digest properly. Only mother's milk or formula is gentle enough to be broken down properly by the baby's digestive system and provide them with the right nutrients.

Babies can drink regular milk. However, a protein in cow's milk is not completely compatible in babies and causes slight bleeding in the intestine. So, babies were fed whole cows milk and baby cereal mixed in to avoid anemia.

The reason why we feed commercial formula today has more to do with politics and greed more than a real need. Back in the early 80s, formula companies worked hard to expand their market. Only after their market share started to dwindle because more moms started breastfeeding did they add anything extra that would actually be better than the milk/cereal formula. Many older doctors are still not convinced that commercial formula is any better than wholemilk/cereal because we traded one problem that affected few babies for problems that affect a lot more babies.

Please note that breastfeeding is superior to both. In any case, virtually all adults that you know over the age of 25 were fed using whole cows milk and baby cereal. Gosh, they don't seem particularly bothered by it, now do they?

"Regular milk" is made for baby cows. Baby cows don't have problems digesting it, because it was made specifically for them. Likewise, human babies have no trouble at all digesting human milk, which is made specifically for them. But cow milk is very difficult for a human baby to digest.

I put a couple of links at the bottom with more information for you. One of these links specifically states that "Babies who are exposed to cow's milk before their first birthday are more likely to be anemic, have diarrhea or vomiting, and/or experience an allergic reaction (the proteins in milk are more numerous than those in other milk products, such as the yogurt). The excessive protein load in cow's milk can also overload a baby's kidneys. It is deficient in vitamins C, E, and copper. It is harder to digest as well, often causing intestinal blood loss. A number of studies have also indicated that early introduction of cow's milk may contribute to the development of Insulin-Dependent Diabetes Mellitus."

Regular milk is "cow" milk and not special formulated formula
(well I wasnt a breast feeder) But its ridiculous cause everything I got ,eat ,drink and also "cows" milk .is passed through breast milk.Baby sucked enough off me for nine months,it was refined ,(hopefully) which took ,takes more useage my liver kidnys etc...Pregnancy IS a big deal on the body ,believe it or not...The tuth may make some cry, especially if you baby was born severly allergic ...and to
think something you were eating did it,like what if you were
eating strawberries by the tons....while pregnant..And then
your baby is born ,then a long while after the child is sickly
youi discover he/she is allergic severly to strawberries...
"God forbid but theoretically is it not true? All lil kids can have regular milk past the age of one (less they are lactose intollerent)Newborn babies should not have cows milk, honey
and all sorts of stuff ,their bodies organs are not mature
enough to handle all this and unles you want to torture babies thus is true, because you dont want to torture your baby do you?Allergy tests and all that is painfull, sickning and so forth.
Normal doctors wont do this to an infant

Because theyre digestive systems arent strong enough to break down the proteins in animals milk... only breast milk from humans. Doesnt matter if its whole, half, low-fat, or skim milk... the chemical and molecular build up of it wont digest properly and can mess up the digestive system entirely.

That is cow's milk that mama cows have for baby cows. Babies drink mama person milk that is for baby people. The different kinds have different proteins and nutrients, and breatmilk passes immunities to babies that they can only get from their mothers, not a cow.

Babies digestive system is not mature enough to break down cows milk. Causes stomach upset as well as diarrhea.

Because cow's milk is made for baby cows.....not for baby humans. It can cause intestinal bleeding and it doesn't contain all the nutrients a growing human needs.
