The character Elijah Price in Unbreakable (played by Samuel jackson) is born with Type I osteogenesis imperfecta. This means that when he was born all 4 limbs were broken.

It happens even for some people who do not have osteogenesis imperfecta, but I can't cite you a case. I have no idea how it would happen, but to answer your question, it is possible.

Many natural born children are born with a displacement .... broken,... I guess could happen. I worked for a chiropractor for a while and he told us that when a child has a hard time coming through the birth canal there can be some injuries to the spine, shoulders and hips...... especially if the baby has to tugged on with forceps.......... I haven't heard of anything broken though.

yes but it is VERY rare!

Babies bones are very soft at this point... the 4 plates in their skull mesh together to fit in the birth canal for crying out loud!

The primary way that bones are broken is from domestic abuse in the last trimester, or a complication from being born... IE: the mothers pelvis is so small the collar bone gets stuck and is broken coming out, etc.

But like I said... its VERY VERY rare!

yes, mostly collar bone which is rare if the birth canal is too small. doctors are very good though and may opt for a c section.

or sadly i have know of many cases where women have experienced domestic abuse and as a result the baby has had bones broken.

Yes... it's quite possible. If number 1. The baby has a disease that causes brittle bones... and 2. Mom's cervix is to tight and baby coming at full force can cause a break.
