The box says that as long as they can hold there head up good enough then they can get in it.

I do, and I LOVE it! Our daughter is nearly 4.5 months old and she's been using it for about 3 weeks now (so 1 week before she turned 4 months). I have to put a pillow under her feet because she just barely doesn't reach yet, but she loves to be in there, and she can even spin the seat around slowly all by herself. She spends about 30-40 minutes in it per day. She likes it so much that we got rid of the swing already.

We also have the one mentioned that has the Kangaroos. My daughter started going in hers at 4 months and LOVED it. My friend just got the Rainforest one for her 5 month old boy and she says he loves it. My daughter was too tall for the 1st height setting at 4 months so we had to move it up to #2. Remember, their tip-toes should only be touching the floor, not the whole bottom of their foot. The first few times we put her in there she was like "ok....now what", but soon got the hang of it and would bounce FOREVER!
Hope your baby loves it too! It will definately keep them occupied so you can get stuff done!

we have the other model with the kangaroos but I think they are the same size and with my daughter who was born 14 july 05 we put her in it nov 1st or so. Hold your baby up standing in your lap and bounce him or her up and down lightly and laugh and giggle see if they respond if they have adequate power in legs set them on their bottom on the floor put your hands on their hips and see if they can mostly hold themselves up. if so they are probably ok for it. put the baby in the jumperoo if they dont quite reach the floor put a pillow with a rug on top to stabilize under their feet we did that for katie for about 3 weeks till she had big enough legs for it. she absolutely loved her jumper and used it to about a year old. she also loved to watch baby einsteins baby bach and baby beethoven while jumping. Happy jumping and good luck

We have it in the daycare that I work at. Usually around 4-5 months, when they can really hold their head well.
