And sleeps horribly. She has reflux and is somewhat fussy, which doesn't at all help the situation. Now that she is old enough we are trying to help her establish a routine. We've read "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby" and am following her cues, soothing her gently and laying her down when tired (We try often, at least twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon, and then at bedtime). While she'll sleep with us holding her briefly, she awakens within minutes of being placed in the crib. She gets more tired throughout the day and crankier as any infant would be. We swaddle her, move her, even drive her in her carseat as a last ditch effort. At night she only lasts two hours max, before she's normally awake again. (She fidgets all night long). Our baby eats well....3 to 4 ounces every three hours or so. What else should we be doing? We try to put her down while drowsy, but sometimes use a pacifier to help....she cries when it falls out, so we don't like to use it.

my friend is pregnant and its a possibility the baby could be mixed. she is white, one of the guys she was with is white and the other guy she had a one night stand with is mixed. since newborns dont have much pigment to begin with, how can she tell who the father is? even if the baby has no hair. if it the mixed guy is the father then the baby will only be 1/4 black. is there a way you can tell right away?

He will eat cookies, crackers, and thing like that. But if you give him noodles, fruit, meat, or anything like that he will only play with it. I know he needs to be eating solids, but I just can't get him interested. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

When my son (who breastfed for just over a year) weaned himself 6 months ago, my bra size dropped from my pre-pregnancy 34B to 34A. To make matters worse, my right breast is now smaller than my left breast (possibly even an AA cup). My son strongly favored my left breast during the last few months before he weaned. My pediatrician assured me that this is common and that my breasts would even out in size once he weaned, but they have not. Am I stuck with smaller, lop-sided breasts for life or will they ever return to normal (in either size or relationship to each other)? It is so embarrassing. Thank you!

I breastfeed, but have to supplement some. At first I was supplementing with similac advance and my baby was fine. I decided to try a sample of enfamil lipil, which is when the gassiness and constipation started. The gentlease did not help. Should I switch back to Similac advance or will it make it worse by switching again? I was using the ready to use with the similac and when switching to enfamil I used the powder. Would that have anything to do with it? What should I do? Should I just stick with the enfamil and wait for things to get better or should I try switching back?

My husband and I have recently moved and I'm staying with my in-laws until he's done with training for a new job. We've been here (me and my 11wk old) for about 2 weeks, and for the last 3days he's been unusually fussy. He's usually fine when he gets up in the morning then he has crying episodes for the rest of the day. Could it have something to do with him sensing my stress? or should I take him to the doctors? He has no other symptoms, no fever or change in pee or poop? I don't know what it is and its hard to watch him cry like that and not know what to do about it? Anyone have any advice. 1st baby!!!!
