I lost weight after I stopped breastfeeding. My OB actually predicted that I would lose the last 5 pounds of my baby weight that was hanging on once I stopped breastfeeding. Sure enough, within a month of weaning I was back to my prepregnancy weight. Interestingly however, the pounds are not distributed on my body as they once were (flabbier tummy, smaller breasts:).

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

I didn't do anything. I just stopped losing weight. I didn't gain any weight though.
It was funny--I had lost nearly all of my baby weight until I stopped breast feeding. At that point everything just came to a standstill as far as weight goes!

I lost alot of weight while nursing, when I stopped nursing I stopped losing weight and if I wanted to lose more weight then I had to work out, or watch what I was eating and how much.

I gained pounds while breastfeeding; and after, I loose pounds slowly. My breast slowly shrink back which I was fine with it, do'nt like to have them big. Not as firm as before, but it is worth it. Exersize is the key, as well as a good balance food.

I gradually lost weight the whole time I nursed. I stopped losing when I stopped nursing (16mo.) although my chest went back to it's prepregnancy size when I stopped nursing.
