my friend is pregnant and its a possibility the baby could be mixed. she is white, one of the guys she was with is white and the other guy she had a one night stand with is mixed. since newborns dont have much pigment to begin with, how can she tell who the father is? even if the baby has no hair. if it the mixed guy is the father then the baby will only be 1/4 black. is there a way you can tell right away?

ok - without a dna test, how could you tell, like right away - if the genitals on a boy are a little bit darker, what about a girl, would the same rule apply?

They baby will look white either way. When you come down to a 3 party like that you basically get back to one color.Like 2 african americans have a baby, that child has sex with a caucasion person and has a mixed child, the mixed child has sex with a white person, the baby looks white.Although the child may have features of either color, the skin will have a more white look.DNA testing is the way to go.

Unless the baby looks really dark she may not know. If she doesn't want the DNA test because she doesn't want one guy to find out about the one night stand I would find a way to do the test without him finding out. Find some way to get the one guys DNA. maybe swab his mouth while sleeping. It will still take a few days, though. Good luck

I'll tell you this, I am half native half white, you can't see any native in me at all, nor my oldest brother - we look pure white. My other brother has all of the pigment that should have been shared between the three of us, I say this jokingly of course. Then on the other hand, my husband is 100% black, and our son came out with all of his facial features, a slight tan, and the bluest eyes you've ever seen - he's 8 months now and his eyes haven't changed to brown. Good luck with that!

It isn't going to matter to her as far as loving the baby goes. But it will matter when she goes to court for child support. All I know is the only way to be positive is to have mom, both men and the baby tested for DNA but of course that's not until after the birth. Can she figure it out according to her due date and the dates she was with them? Were they far enough apart to help determine this? Good luck to her and cheers to you for being such a good friend!

By a DNA test. Science has come a long way now, we dont have to play guessing games.

On little boys the scrotum area is usually dark. The best way is to allow the baby to become at least 6 months old and you'll be able to tell better.
