They finally do! Method Home, which is available at Target. does have a HE baby detergent. (I've an HE machine and couldn't find an HE baby detergent, so I used smaller amounts of baby detergent then switched to an HE Free and Clear). But the Method Baby smells wonderful!

There are a few extra-gentle laundry detergents on the market that are targeted toward baby clothes such as the ones you named, but that doesn't mean you have to use one of these special soaps. Some families alleviate the risk of skin allergies by laundering baby clothes in a dye-free, scent-free detergent, such as All Free & Clear or Tide Free which can both be found in HE.

nope there is not but tide makes a detergant now that is high efficientcy . I never used baby detergant i found it is really just a gimic to spend more money unless your child actually has a reaction to your regualr detergant .

I would go with one like ALL FREE which has no dies or fragrances! So you don't have to worry about baby having allergies or irritations. Hope this helps!!

Perhaps because if they made it High Effciency, (added chemicals) it would no longer be baby skin friendly?
