I have tried to feed her dog food but she will throw it out as soon as she eats it. So we have been feeding her just milk.

If you've looked at my questions you'll see I've had problems with Miss Piggy before. I've been trying to get her to do her business while I'm present. Usually the only way she would do it is if I closed the door but I am tired of peeking out of the window to see if she's finished. If I don't get her out of the litter box after she's done she buries her leavings with her snout. Then I have to clean clumping kitty litter out of her nose. I admit I've yelled at her in the past but I've been trying a more positive approch. Whenever I can get the stupid mutt to go I pet her and give her praise afterwards. But the next time she has to go it's like I've done nothing at all. She refuses to get on with it! I don't have the money for a trainer right now and my patience is very low. So should I go back to hiding behind the door or continue with the current struggle or just drop kick her out the front door?

my 3 mos old male has an odor that defies bathing, I have wormed him and that seemed to work for a bit but then the smell came back. Does anyone out there have the same problem as I do or any suggestions on what to do about it?

My 13 year old Sherherd/Rottweiler b**ch has all of a sudden fell pregnant, we couldnt get her spayed due to complications and she would probably not have survived the op but we dont recall her being in season recently. She has been to the vet who says she is fine, her and the pups are both healthy and are due in approx 10 days and to keep a close eye on her but didnt tell us what the symptoms of something going wrong could be. We should have asked but we were so happy she was ok. What should i be looking out for?

I have visited a couple of sites on the internet but they come across as specialising in breeding top spec show dogs.

All we require is another addition to our family, so temprament and personality are far more important than physical perfection!

I would be extremely grateful for any information whatsoever!

All of the sudden my dog is very afraid to move. She won't walk and when I bump her hip she yelps. I am taking her to the vet first thing tomorrow but is there anything I can do until then to help the pain? It's very sensetive and I would really just like to help her for tonight until I can get her into the vet.

My fiance has a four year old Maltese. One morning, out of the blue, she can't walk. The vet diagnosed her with a slipped disc (just by feeling around. No X-Rays). Is this a serious problem or is it common with these dogs? Is she going to be ok? Should she get X-Rays? Thanks everyone.

I have a terrier that's 9 months old. When I got him he was 2 months and I trained him to pee outside and things have been fine since. My roommate and I recently moved into a new apartment and the first night we brought him over he peed a little of the floor and we got him to stop. I took him outside and about ten minutes after bringing him back in, he peed on the floor again. He did it again a couple of days later in my roommates room and when she picked him up and took him outside he stopped. When she brought him back in, he started again. We're wondering if it has to do with the move in a new apartment, if he's angry, or if it's a bladder problem. I haven't noticed any changes in his eatting habits or drinking habits. The only other change that has occured is that he's been chewing on my roommates things and when he has peed in the apartment, it's right next to her. Anyone ever dealt with something like this and has any suggestions. All help would be great, thanks!

I live in Brooklyn, NY and I would like to know if anybody knows a good place for me to take him. Hes a beautiful dog and hes house broken. He has all his shot and hes healthy. I would love to keep him, but there is never anyone home to care for him. I work and go to school and I have children, but they are involved in after school activities. I would love for him to go to a good home where he will be loved and well taken care of. I dont have anyone to give him to that I trust so I want to take him to a shelter. Does anyone know what the procedure is?
