I wonder if it is arthritis. My dog, a sheltie got it in his hips when he turned 6 human yrs. We use an anti inflammatory/pain reliever.Max still has days where we have to carry him up the stairs, but it really helps. If it is not possible for it to be that then I would call your vet now. Most vets have after hrs services. If not you should find one that does! Hope he/she is ok. Good luck

If she's in so much pain then get her to an emergency room in an animal hospital! Why let the poor thing suffer all night? Wouldn't you go to an ER if this were you or your child? It won't cost much more then the vet visit. They will give her a pain relief injection while finding out if something is broken, or if the problem is a disc in the back or whatever it is . . . but get going! When you are in that much pain every minute is torture , let alone all night!

I would call an emergency animal clinic since they are open 24 hrs. (look one up in your area) and I would ask the vet or technician there. I'm sure they will give you some good medical advice.

is she shaking or anything? if she is, maybe she has a cramp and massaging her hip a little would help. my dog has that once in a while. if its something completely opposite and lasts longer than a couple of hours, then i suggest you take her to a vet.

Do nothing! If you crate her then just place her in the crate gently.
Do not give her any medicines it could only make things worse for her and it may react very badly with whatever the vet gives her.
Poor thing!
Good luck!

If you can't get her to a emergency vet tonghit. Then keep her confined to one room so she doesn't walk on the bad hip/leg one asprin is ok for dogs.It would help with the pain
