Every time I reprimand it, it jumps right back onto it, and makes an attempt to avoid being grabbed by running quickly on top of the sofa. It's driving me crazy.

I just bought my pet dog. It doesn't seem to like me. This sounds pathetic, but how can I make it like me?

After reading some other questions, it seems dogs can't sleepwalk.

Well, my dog just had what looked to be a short nightmare, and not long after, he woke up growling. His eyes were open, but he looked very dazed, and just started growling at nothing, wasn't looking in a specific direction or anything. So, still growling on a low tone, he went to his bed, growled a couple more times, and fell back asleep. He looked very confused, didn't look like he had a clue as to what he was growling at.

It looked like he was sleep walking, because he was just growling away at nothing, and had such a distant look on his face, and drowsy eyes.

Does your dog ever act...weird..After dreaming?

Oh. And his older buddy died Sunday. Can this cause him stress in his dreams? Not that his dreams don't already look stressful...I guess it's really hard to tell what they're dreaming about. Lol.

Any thoughts? Comments?

I'm wondering how well Salukis respond to obedience training. Do they have enough of an attention span and a desire to please their master to be trained well? Or, do they basically want to do their own thing, get bored with training, and just want to run and chase things? Thanks for your input!

My 7 month border collie is house trained in the room that she stays in the most, but whenever I take her in other rooms, she doesn't even try to hold it. She waits until I am not looking and then goes on the floor. I even take her out before bringing her into my room. Why is she doing that?

I know this sounds like one of those stupid questions some of these people ask, but this is truly a serious question. Every now and then, my male poodle will hunch on my or my daughter's leg, especially if one of us is menstruating. He has also tried to hunch on small children, especially toddlers. He is 7 years old and has never been fixed. Will neutering him help this problem?

My dog loves to lick and BITE glass windows.

I have no idea why she does it, does anyone know of anything that I can spray on the glass to deter her?

Thanks.

My wife and I both have dogs that need to gain a little weight. They are both under weight to us. Mine is a Husky/Geman Shepard/Cho Mix. And Her's is a Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull Mix. They are both a little under 30 lbs. now. The Pit/Lab mix is 2 years old now. And the Husky/Geman Shep. Mix is about 1 and a half years old now. They both look a little bit under weight if you'd look at them. You can see the Ribs a little to much.

We've tried just about everything that we can think of from: changing their dog food to puppy food with weight gain in it, to adding Bacon grease {friend told me to try it...Never again}, to giving them some human food from the table {still trying to train them better than jumping on the table}, to giving them Deli Meats {which got very pricy}, to this now... I've been trying just about everything we can think of.

Right now they are eating Purina Puppy Chow with Mother's Milk. I've been giving them a 5 Quart Bowl a Day, plus a 5 Quart bowl of water to.

I have a 1 year old male white Lhasa Apso that I totally adore. I work alot of hours so I rescued a 6 month old white female shih-tzu from a shelter and they totally love each other!! They are both so happy and get along great. Even though they are both full breeds, they look like each other!! In about 2 months my female will be going into heat. I want they to have babies only once because I want to preserve the good quality of both dogs, however, being different breeds, is this desirable?
