jack russel allergies?

my dog harley has horrible allergies he is always trying to get someone to scratch his back we switched his dog food to the expensive king and it helped all winter but now the fleas are here and i know thats one reason but i give him a bath and the fleas are gone and he is still red i have spent so much money for his allergies but i wont give up on him does anyone have this problem or knows what else to do, i will do whatever to help him

well jack russels have sensitive skin and maybe try putting some doggy lotion on him after the bath. my jack russel has allergies too i believe, because she bites her front paws alot. and she does it til there is a sore spot that bleeds sometimes. the thing is with treating fleas also vacuum the carpet and tiled floors for remaining fleas and eggs, treat the carpet, throw away the bag from the vacuum cause the eggs can hatch in the bag and leave the vacuum, you can even treat the grass outside in your front and back lawn. i had a dog one time that was allergic to fleas. poor dog also had allergies to grass and weeds. are you sure your dog doesnt have allergies to something outside too? maybe clean him off when he comes inside from playing with doggy wipes that are like baby wipes or just get some baby wipes.
