Diarrhoea is really common in puppies and caused by many things. Normally in a healthly puppy it is from eating the wrong foods. Uncooked chicken(or any other meat for that matter) seems to be a big one. If your puppy is bright and happy, still eating and drinking, I would recommend keeping him quiet, feeding him only boiled chicken and rice for 5 days before putting him back on a puppy food. If he is lethargic at all, is vomiting or not eating I would see a vet as he will not get better on his own. Hope this helps.

It depends on wha you are feeding it. Make sure you are using a good quality dry food then you won't really need to use canned foods. Try feeding raw chicken wings or necks and definately not human milk. You can buy special puppy milk which is lactose free from the supermarket but only give it to puppy in small quantities - maybe 1/2 milk 1/2 water and wean it off the milk asap. If no change in 3 or 4 days, take puppy to vet. Hope this helps

There are several reasons for diarrhea in puppies. If a puppy has not been de-wormed, it causes diarrhea.
Giving a puppy cow's milk will cause it.
The protozoan parasites, such as Cocci will cause it.
Overeating can cause it, or feeding the wrong food.

BUT the most serious cause is all too common..Parvo virus..I would recommend that any puppy with diarrhea should be tested for Parvo, as it needs attended to immediately..
the vet can test a stool sample to learn if it is Parvo. Call your vet and ask about that..especially if your puppy has not been vaccinated..
If your puppy's stools are very dark or reddish, it is a sign of parvo.

You can give your puppy boiled rice and water or broth until you get him to the vet. ..

Puppy milk and canned puppy food. do that and see if it helps. Puppies cant digest very easy at first. Get a better brand of wet food and slowly mix dry puppy food in it as well, soft chew puppy food, not hard.

If it dont work see the vet
