Seems like i always run into dog owners that have no control over their dogs and i've seen a couple of dogs get bit pretty bad at this dog park i used to take my dog to. Should they police dog parks better?

i think they are good, but dont ever take your eye off your dog. its a great place to socialize your dog with other dogs, as well as many other people.. but turn your back for a second, and there cfould be problems.. not saying your dog will do something bad but there are a lot of dogs out there and all it takes is one bite.

They SHOULD have the park fenced in a way that would allow the smaller dogs to be separate from the larger breeds.
Larger dogs usually like to flex their muscle and bite or snap at the smaller ones.

If the park isn't set up that way or dogs are attacking other breeds that are the same size, I wouldn't take my dog there anymore.

It's just too dangerous and not worth it.

I understand exactly what you are talking about. Such as people not haveing no controle of there dog. If any dog should cause a problem should be removed to a confined area. Your dog is your kid and you have the right to defend your baby. In my openion I would find another dog park.

Nope. Not a good idea and there are so many uneducated idiots out there. My recommendation is to have your dog play with your friends' dogs provided they're well trained in the first place otherwise you're asking for trouble.

i think the owners should watch their own dogs better than they do.they should have 2 areas 1 for big dogs and 1 for small dogs.i have been to one with a friend but not my dogs because who knows how aggressive the other ones are and are they sick with anything.shots is an issues too.

I would also be worried about disease and parasites, but in some places they are the best option for letting your dog run around.

Which one is your question? Yea, they are a good idea and there should be strictor regulations for them as well.
