socks...hes not fussy, clean or dirty.
I could live without the socks but he always throws them up its driving me mad!
It cant be good for him either.

I have a 2yr. old Blue pit, he weighs about 60lbs. I had him on Purina large breeds. And i just got a puppy.. and i bought the puppy, Puppy food, now my older dog will only eat the puppy food, is that ok for him? im worried he wont get all the vitamins he needs?

What breed of dog would be best to live with a family, no very young children, big garden, plenty of space etc. The only thing is it would be on its own for about 5 hours a day during the week. Would it be cruel to keep a dog alone for that long every day? It would have constant attention and stimulation for the rest of the day and at weekends. What breed would you recommend? Thanks

i am suppose to take my adopted dog back to the Humane Society in a week to get her final Heart worm shot. I was wondering if this is terminal? I thought I was told that that would be the final shot and otherwise she was healthy but needed Heart worm treatment. She was already being treated while at the Humane Society. I am confused.

My 2 year old female Belgium Malinious drinks from our pool daily. It is properly maintained with shock treatments, pH testing, chlorine, vacuuming, etc. Are there any possible health hazards Ember could incure (immediately or long term) from intaking to the water??

Hi, My wife took our 5 month old Yorkie to the vet today to have her groomed. She has been having problems with her eyes and they are very dry. Her noses has never been wet either. Well the doc has had her on this ointment and it wasn't really working so he put her on artifical tears and it wasn't really helping either. So he put her on this steroid like these drops and her eyes have been looking great since then. Well he told her today that they couldn't keep her on the steroids and there wasn't really anything else he could do for her. He said she will go blind. Me and my wife have been very upset and we are hoping there is something we can do. Please help us!

I want a golden retriever and I was looking to find answers from you guys.
1) Some Goldens have a long haired coat. Do you find hair everywhere in your house? Like if he sleeps with you, is your bed going to be full of dog hair?

I have noticed a green discharge coming from my dog's "little friend". It has been going on for a while but he doesn't seem sick. He usually licks it away but I have wiped it up with a kleenex a couple times and it smells almost coppery. I really can't afford to take him to the vet right now but I don't want him to get really sick. Is he ok?

O.k. so there are many animal lovers out there, my question is how many dogs is too many? I have a friend whos dad has 12 dogs! he has a 5 acre ranch and takes care of every single one of the dogs like if they were actual people,feeds,bathes,vet. visits, ect. does it seem wierd to have too many dogs??

when theres yellowish looking gooey stuff coming out of my dogs eyes?
shes a 41/2 year old chow mix, medium size, tan colored dog that stays in my back yard.
she started getting it about a day ago and i dont know what it is. i cleaned both her eyes with a soft cloth and warm water but to day when i went outside to check on her it was there again. do you know what it is?
plz help rly worried :(
