According to about.com they are easy to tame and are supposedly very social reptiles. They can grow up to 24 inches and they need a decent size cage/tank. They can live from 4-10 years of age and if u take good care of them they will live up to ten years long. They are also easy to handle and although they are not cuddly like mammals, bearded dragons can be very friendly.=)

It's good for those who are allergic to cats or dogs and want a pet. It's the reason why I got one.
They are actually pretty easy to take care of (if you don't own more than one). They love attention and they are so cute... just like most pets...

No, but only because I don't think "every" animal on this earth needs to be sold in a pet store...
It is not fair to the animal and so many animals die being smuggled into this country...just so someone can make a buck or to be the "look how cool I am, I own a "whatever"...

Yes, they are great pets. They are very friendly, and they like to lay on you. They love burrowing in your blankets if you hold them. But the catch= They need lots of care and take a lot of money! They need big tanks with things to climb and bunches of certain things.. They eat crickets and veggies and fruits, they need to go to the vet to get checkups, also when there older they occasionly.. eat.. mice. Take this advice because my sister has one and hes a doll!
