I have a lil' dog and last night it was barking at something, someone, non-stop. It would then growl in fury, like it was ready to attack. I went out and checked what the hell was going on, but he would only run toward the thing and come back to me. I didn't see anything. Or maybe I was half-asleep, but there was nothing there. They're building a house next door. Was there maybe a bum sleeping in? Was it a spirit? I know he wasn't thirsty, because he would not drink. Would anyone have any idea why he was barking? Has this happened to you with your dog?

It looks small, but looks like the head is bigger than the body. It is all white and has a fluffy face.

Its really hard to feed my puppies. I have two and we feed them at the same time to be fair. One is greedier than the other, and as soon as shes finished, she dives into the other ones food! We have to keep holding her back while the other one finishes. Least to say the greedy one is the fattest! We have tried separating them but then they cry and scratch the door to be let in to be with eachother. How should we feed them? Will the greedy one eventually stop doing it, I dont want them to be like this up until they are adults. This is a crucial time for them to learn things I hope they learn to only eat their own food.

I'm thinking of a dog I've seen before. They are swimmers. The one that I saw had brown short hair, and looked similar to a lab (it may have been one) I think that it had certain paws made for swimming. It may have been a mix.

Anytime someone is at the door she RUNS to it, and we have to use the jaws of like to hold her back! She has successfully escaped 4 times! Once she jumped on top of a trashcan then to behind the fence and was gone for about 5 min when we found her. Another she got off her leash on a walk and we got her after about 3 minutes. Another time she was gone for 4 hours and she had never left our cul-ede-sac!! She got out the front door once and my dad chased her for 2 miles! She is a pro at escaping!

I worry anytime I don't see her around, and I was wondering if I could train her somehow to not try to escape?

Both my dog's eyes have become really goopy and icky within the past 2 days. I am always wiping her eyes with a warm cloth. Her left eye is bloodshot looking. The goopy stuff is bright green. I dont know if this has anything to do with it. I am taking her to the vet in a week. Can someone tell me what this might be? Should I take her in sooner?

I've kept him on a runner as punishment, whip him when I catch him digging, placed barbwire around bottom of fence, laid out cross ties against the inside of the fence, etc. I've even tried the electric laser collar kit and nothing has worked. He cut his paw on the barb wire and cut an artery requiring surgery so I removed the barb wire. He has a female playmate in the fence with him. She won't dig but will follow him when he gets out. I live in town and there are leash laws so I fear my dogs will be impounded or hit in traffic. He has been doing this for a couple of years now and I really don't know what else to do to try to keep him inside the fence outside of keeping him on this 30 foot runner inside the fence. Please offer any opinions as to why he's so hell bent on getting out and what I could try next to keep him inside. He's 6 years old and the female is now pregnant. PLEASE HELP!!!!

A few months ago, I heard that Swifer cleaning products for kitchen floor could be harmful for dogs if they licked the floor, etc and that some dogs had died from it. I have never used the products in the past, but I was just wondering if anyone knows if this is true? Thanks

I am trying to find a new home for my 3 yr. old yellow lab. A rescue group is coming out Saturday to perform a temperament test. If she passes, they will list her on their adoption list. What is included in a temperament test?
