My godmother has a yellow lab dog who was not fixed. Right now she's 1 year old. We were wondering when she would get her period.

Do you think because my 3 month old puppy had never been away from his mom and siblings until he was brought here that may a reason that he is afraid? We can't get him to come to us yet, And if I can't get him to follow me or walk with the leash should I carry him down stairs? Or let him decidewhen he is ready or make arrangements for him to go in a designated area inside the home?

My dog (a golden retriever) is also on Frontline and Heartguard and we never had a tick problem EVER before. It's really disgusting. We've been thoroughly inspecting him twice a day and we've found approximately 25 ticks in the past 4 days. Only 1 today, though. My poor doggie! He's getting a bath, dip, and SHORT haircut tomorrow morning. Then we're putting on the Preventic collar. Wish us luck!

I have a Doberman, Named hammer. he is my 11th dobie. I've been raised with dobermans, and they are the best breed ever! dont beleive me, then check out the stats..
I saved him from a shelter when he was 11 months old, he is pure bred, but his first owners couldnt keep him anymore because they already paid too much for him " a thousand dollars" and they didnt want to keep up with him, so they dropped him off at the shelter when he was 3 months old. he then was adopted agian at 9 months, but he got loose, but when the shelter picked him up, the second owners didnt want him, they said that he was too big and stalky, and they just didnt want him anymore, he was too affectionate. and they didnt have time for that. and when i came in to look for a dobe with my father, the shelter said he only had the weekend to live, it was friday! I adopted him immeadiataly. Now he is being police trained by me, bc all my dobes were. and now he is the best obediant dobie ever!

he is the best thing i have had in my life so far, and alot of people congradulate me on saving him, but i cant help to think inside that he has saved me in more ways then i can count!

My dog loves rawhide bones (she goes through a medium size one is about a day or two!) but I notice if she eats them she throws up sometimes or gets constipated. I bought two nylabones to see if she would take to those to play with but she won't touch them (one regular the other chicken scent). Any advice on how to get her to like them or do you recommend another type of chew toy that won't cause her problems?

hi,everyone
i have 4 months old Labrador and now i am house wife so he is with me almost for whole day but when my husband returns he doesn't want my puppy to come inside the house though he sleep outside and every day we argue about this issue my husband says that you are spoiling him when you will start work it will be difficult for him but i can't see him waiting outside.is there any rule for it please help me!

For 15 months I have been living next door to 3 nuicence barking dogs....they will bark as soon as the owner leaves. I have timed their barking, and sometimes it hasnt stopped for 2 hours...non stop. I am going mad. I have rung the council at least 50 times...they have heard the horrible noise. They have sent a ranger out who has left notes in her letterbox. I have spoken to her 4 times and left notes in her letter box 7 times. I dont know what to do...it is driving me crazy. I have done everything possible to try and get this noise stopped, but 15 months of nothing is enough for anyone to take matters into their own hands....what will I do?

I have a boxer, he's only about 4 months right now. Currently i am using a softer nylon type colllar, but he's about ready for a new one. Are certain materials better than others? is he too young for a leather color, and are those less comfortable for dogs? I am just curious what the best type of collar all around is.

I have a 3 year old german shepard/golden retreiver. She eats everything from the contents of the trash can to coats. I have tried showing her what she has destroyed and smaking her nose with the item to spraying things with various products. Nothing is working. She has about 100 different toys so i know she is not lacking of chew toys. Please help
