Its really hard to feed my puppies. I have two and we feed them at the same time to be fair. One is greedier than the other, and as soon as shes finished, she dives into the other ones food! We have to keep holding her back while the other one finishes. Least to say the greedy one is the fattest! We have tried separating them but then they cry and scratch the door to be let in to be with eachother. How should we feed them? Will the greedy one eventually stop doing it, I dont want them to be like this up until they are adults. This is a crucial time for them to learn things I hope they learn to only eat their own food.

My puppy does the same. She rushes to finish her food then runs towards my other dog's food. It's not good for her to eat my other dog's food because I feed him adult food and it's also a special food prescribed to him. She goes to a puppy class so she's learning the basic obedience. I still feed them together but I watch them. If she finish before my other dog, I quickly go in between her and the food for the other dog. I correct her and make sure she doesn't get near of his food at all. She does listen but I still have to wait and make sure my other dog finishes his food. I'm really shock that my other dog isn't protecting his food but he's more trained and can pretty much tolerate what she does. I do the same for water as well.

They call it the law of the jungle. The dominant one will eat first and most no matter what. One trick is to have a few dishes separated around the feeding area like 3 or 4 different dishes. That way the submissive one can eat when the dominant one is eating too. The dominant one will try to eat out of whatever the other one is eating. At least the other one can move to the next dish

Keep them separate at eating time only. Feed the non greedy first then freed the greedy let non greedy stay there.

This way you will have only one in the room to watch and only for short time

Feed them one at a time. That was you make sure they get enough and nobody is left back. When you have 2 or more eating out of the same blow, they don't want to share.

I too only bought a doggy! My vet stated which you're able to feed it thrice an afternoon, only such as you're able to consume. make advantageous it rather is doggy nutrition, others are too harsh for the doggy's equipment! save them on doggy nutrition for a minimum of a year! And permit the doggy consume as much as he needs for 15 minutes, after 15 minutes p.c.. up nutrition till next feeding! solid luck! be certain you're taking the doggy outdoors like 20 minutes afters feeding to flow potty, additionally as quickly as he wakes up take him out spectacular away this might help with potty education. Our doggy is 9 weeks previous and asks to flow outdoors already!

How old are your pups? It will be up to you to make sure young pups get enough food. You may have to stand nearby while they are feeding until the "greedier" of the two learns its unacceptable to "surf" to its siblings bowl. Good luck

feed them at separate times, your mom's puppy first, then yours. that way they can both have the same amount of food and the little puppy doesnt have to suffer from lack of food

this happens to every litter of pups. there is always a fat one and a runt. We have raised several litters of pups and we just let them work it out on there own. They will eventually learn how to fight back and get the food they need.

get one of those pens. and then do a separation/divider thing. they'll still see each other but atleast the other one will have time to finish it's food.

the second link is the one that you can do different shapes.
