It is probably a tumor take him to the vet now and get it checked. It will probably require surgery. My little brother's dog had a huge knot growth type thing on her stomach and it caused her to lose her hair, lose weight, and she couldn't jump on the bed to sleep with him at night or to get in her favorite laying spots. We got her to the vet just in time. It was a tumor and it could have killed her and she had another that was not visible.

Take it to the vet. My cat had a that same thing happen to it. There's hair growing inside it causing it to swell. They just have to pop it and get the hair out of there. It doesn't cost that much and it doesn't hurt them.

In certain breeds of dogs...(Like schnauzers) they have beninne tumors! My aunt's dog was so close to dying because the tumor was pushing on the juggler vein of the neck. I would take it into the vet ASAP!
Good Luck

This is probably an abses. My cat had one above his eye when he was 6 and all I had to do is take him to the vet. They drained it, and we came home with antibiotics.

There are chances the cat could die if you do not get this taken care of though, so I recommend you take the cat to the vet soon.

my friend's dog had that once. I think it was inflammation from a tick bite or something like that. Better take your dog to the vet, asap!
