I did not give details to my previous question to imply that Olde English Pocket Beagle breeding, originally done by killing the specimens that didn't meet the standards of the new breed, or Queen Elizabeth Pocket Beagle breeding, done by breeding cute friendly dogs when there enough cute friendly dogs, is right or ethical, but only to say that when people ask about Pocket Beagles and then are invariably told they don't exist when in fact they do exist they are unlikely to believe those who say they don't exist who are really saying it because for their own reasons they are opposed to the breeding of Pocket Beagles. Therefore, the issue isn't "do they exist?", but why you shouldn't support the breeding of Pocket Beagles. Not having the intellectual integrity to tell the truth about what's going on is likely to make people feel lied to. Since all deliberately bred dogs are bred for marketablity, the real issue is whether you want to support or oppose the deliberate breeding of ANY dog.
