I am thinking of naming my dog either
Storm
or
Halo Storm

I am also open to any other suggestions but let me know what you think of the two that I chose.

I know dogs can take aspirin, particularly Ascriptin with the Maalox coating, but I wasn't sure about heartburn meds.

I have been around critters all my life and have seen psyco kitties and deranged dogs, but never anything like this!
When she greets you, she starts out head first, then she folds herself and turns her butt toward you.If I sit on the floor, she will lay down beside me with her butt faceing me.I continually tell her that we don't want to pet her butt,we want to pet her head.....I think she laughs at us! its a bunghole sabbatoge! somebody help me??

Hi everyone

How much would you pay for a Boxer puppy. It must be about 6 months old!

Its all vaccinated and 'fixed'

My workmate is going to pay £500.00 for it from a dog breeder!

Is that too much?

My two year old male Shih Tzu never marked in the house until our female came into heat. I did not know that he would mark in the house or I would not have let them breed, I would have gotten him fixed a long time ago. After her heat he stopped marking in the house, but now that she has had the puppies he has started marking again. I know that if I get him neutered there is a chance that he will still mark, but I am hoping that is a slim chance. He has also changed from a sweet family pet to a mean dog who snapps at our children and growls every time anyone but my husband goes around him. Does anyone know for certain if his attitude will change after he is neutered? And after we get both of them fixed will that help his urge to mark in the house? Please help me, I just can't deal with this problem anymore but I would never get rid of him, he's part of our family. Please give me some ideas on how to change this devil back into our sweet boy.

( i let him run around the snow when we play) and just yesterday when i had him traing for weightpulling he came out and accused me off trying to make him meaner and tougher. why do these idiots not understand anything???? im getting sick of it. im abut to run with my dog right u to them and let him give them dog kisses with butt breath!

I am thinking of fostering dogs from a local shelter and would like to know the pros and cons of your experiences. Do these shelters pay for vet bills? How long do you usually have the dog. What happens if no one adopts the dog?

when we first got her she did 1 normal poo, then after it just got worse. we took her for her second needle and was refused because of this problem and was told to give her scrambled egg and some medicine called pro-kolin+ which hasnt worked at all. we tried new different food. complete, mixer but still no luck, we also wormed her too but that still hasnt worked. someone mentioned that pedigree puppy food is quite rich and could be causing this. any ideas what we can try. im trying to refrain from taking her back to the vet as we think hes just trying to fob us off by paying more money to give us stuff that doesnt work. i would be greatful for any comments. cheers, matt

I have two dogs and a large back yard. They love to go outside and run around, but when the ground is wet they track muddy pawprints all over my kitchen when I let them in. I've started wiping their paws, but I figure that there has to be a better solution. Has anyone out there figured out a better way?

I did not give details to my previous question to imply that Olde English Pocket Beagle breeding, originally done by killing the specimens that didn't meet the standards of the new breed, or Queen Elizabeth Pocket Beagle breeding, done by breeding cute friendly dogs when there enough cute friendly dogs, is right or ethical, but only to say that when people ask about Pocket Beagles and then are invariably told they don't exist when in fact they do exist they are unlikely to believe those who say they don't exist who are really saying it because for their own reasons they are opposed to the breeding of Pocket Beagles. Therefore, the issue isn't "do they exist?", but why you shouldn't support the breeding of Pocket Beagles. Not having the intellectual integrity to tell the truth about what's going on is likely to make people feel lied to. Since all deliberately bred dogs are bred for marketablity, the real issue is whether you want to support or oppose the deliberate breeding of ANY dog.
