15-20 dollars
great idea to have it done in case u ever loose your dog.
i just rescued a dog off of the highway from being hit the other day and took it to the vet to have it scanned for one, it had a microchip and the dog was reunited with its owners and happy.

There are several schemes run yearly with local councils that will do it for free if on a state benefit, also contact RSPCA, Dogstrust etc they do it cheaper, from the vet average is £25.Some private people now do it for £10 lok in local press, I dont recommend this though!

It cost me £26 each for my dogs about 5 years ago, but some animal charities (The Dogs Trust for example) will help you get it done for free. If you change address you'd need to inform the organisation where your puppy/dog is registered.
Good for you for doing that.

I think it's generally about £15 to £20 but sometimes vets have "specials" and do it cheaper for a while or you can get a special deal if you have it done at the same time as vaccinations.

As far as I recall it cast me about £30 to have my Black Labrador chipped. It then lasts for a year on the database and if you want to continue, it costs another £50 in a years time, but renewal lasts for life.

Not sure about the UK but I paid $48 US last week. There is an additional one time charge of $17.50 to register your info.

It costs £10 if you are on benefits, or £20 if not.

Its cheaper if they are having something else done and they're under anesthetic.
They dont have to be under it is just less stress for the dog

Had mine chipped when she was being spayed last year for an extra £16
