I have two dogs and a large back yard. They love to go outside and run around, but when the ground is wet they track muddy pawprints all over my kitchen when I let them in. I've started wiping their paws, but I figure that there has to be a better solution. Has anyone out there figured out a better way?

Just wipe them with fragrance free baby wipes..Its about all you can do..Trim the hair from the bottom of their feet and between their toes, and they will track in less..

I have a big stack of old towels an another stack of baby blankets I get from rummage sales. The blankets go on the floor and the dogs are made to sit as soon as they walk in.then I use the towels to wipe their feet.
Everything goes into the washer at the end of the day.

Other than trying to wipe them, what else could you do? If you let them go outside where its muddy, You have to expect to get muddy paw prints.

Just cleaning them when they come back into the house. I keep spare towels, old under ware or rags by my door when I let my pups in. And clean them as they come in the door. Be grateful they come in the kitchen with a tile floor...they could be rugs!!

I keep a bucket of water near the door and dunk each foot in it to wash them one by one. As I wash them I dry them on a towel.

why do people ask stupid questions?

WIPE THEIR FEET EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY COME INSIDE THE HOUSE, IT MAYBE A PAIN BUT THAT IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO. OR YOU CAN JUST LET YOUR DOGS TRASH OUT YOUR HOUSE AND NOT WIPE THEIR FEET

Dog boots. Preferably in bright colors with their names on them so they know which ones are theirs.
