why on earth would you bite your dogs ear???
when you have a pet-of any kind, you deter it from biteing.
i think you were irrisponsable for doing so, no matter what the reason was. the dog then responded the only way it knew.
if a dog gets into a fight with another dog the only thing they can do is bite each other, you biteing the dog would hurt it, so it was doing the same back.
of course putting him down was the only course of action as you had confirmed to your pet that biteing was acceptable and he would do it to anyone.
i hope you regret doing what you did as your dog probably wouldnt be dead now if you hadnt of done it in the first place. and i hope that you have learned from you stupid actions and not do it again to your next dog if you decide to have another

How wonderful is it that people prey on the tender hearts of pet lovers to get a response to animal abuse and cruelty. I love these types of questions just begging for the answers that EVERYONE with a brain is willing to give.
It hurts the hearts of true animal activist because the "joke" is all too real out there. Everyday anyone could see the torture that stray animals and mistreated pets go through if they just barely open their eyes. Its everywhere.
I really doubt this scenario ever happened, you just so happened to know the right question to ask to get the answers you wanted so you could sit back and have a good (and evil I might add) laugh at animals lovers. Bravo.

To bite a dogs is not the right thing to do as any normal person would realise that if you attack a dog it will defend it self and people like you should never be allowed to keep any animal

Obviously the dog was defending itself. Put yourself in that situation with someone hurting you. It was an attack as far as the dog could tell. You shouldn't have done that in the first place and second you shouldn't have put him down because of stupidity on your part.

Sorry but I think you made a mistake. Biting etc a dog anywhere on its head, especially if not coming from the front is immensely threatening for them. They go on instinct... if it happened to you what would your reaction be? The dog was defending itself. Next time treat the animal with more respect and the same problem won't happen. Sorry this isn't comforting.

I actually have a friend who bites on her dog's ears when they are nipping or biting at her or other animals to "teach it a lesson". This being said, though, I think it is a stupid way to teach the animal and you certainly cannot blame the dog for biting back.
If this is a true story/question, then you are a moron who should have been the one put down, not the pup.

i don't personally think it was a good idea ,when they are puppies this method is used to prevent them from biting, if your dog was a pup then training was the best thing not the lethal injection if the dog wasn't a pup n you had him from a pup then its you that is the problem and maybe it should have been you, if you have only just had the dog and it was already adult then you should have trained him to understand that biting is bad because if its never been tought how woz it supposed to no, im sorry but i think you were in the wrong big time wot wud you do if some1 bit you for no reason if i was you i would never have a pet in the rest of your life because if it does something wrong u mite just kill it instead of just showing it its wrong. .xx.R.I.P. little dog.xx.

Wa the hell were you thinking..."Oh i feel like biting my dos ears" You random... They should've put you down not the dog you murderer !!! I play fight with my dogs i don't bite their ears i pretend to but i don't. In the film 'Snow Dogs' a man bites a Siberian Huskys ear because he thinks it will put him in control..i suppose it depends what type of dog it was, if it was a puppy i spose they would of just ran and whimpered but i think an older dog would defend themselves.

Are you being serious?! Its a matter of opinion. You shouldnt have bit his ear and on the other hand he shouldt have turned nasty. But then I think i would attack you if you tried to bite my ear!!
