Yep, especially when they get older. They also have birthmarks and skin discoloring. They are just like peoples... Good question!! DOGS RULE!!

You need to check if these are indeed papillomas-raised lumps which look like moles.
If so they need to be removed because ,caused by a virus,they can be a nuisance if snagged/caught.
They need removal by a vet because that ensures the whole root is properly taken out which would otherwise regrow.
They are common in older dogs and the one other thing to remember is to point these out to a groomer if your dog is being clipped.They will then use special clippers which will not nick the growths

I would have to say yes. My 8 week old Dachshund has 3, 2 on each cheek and one directly in the center under her chin. They also have long "whiskers" coming out of them! It cracks me up. If they aren't moles... I don't know what the heck is on her lil face then!!!
