Both my dog's eyes have become really goopy and icky within the past 2 days. I am always wiping her eyes with a warm cloth. Her left eye is bloodshot looking. The goopy stuff is bright green. I dont know if this has anything to do with it. I am taking her to the vet in a week. Can someone tell me what this might be? Should I take her in sooner?

Green discharge is a sign of infection. You need to try and get her to the vet sooner so she can get put on the proper medication. If an eye infection is left untreated for too long you run the risk of other eye problems. Hope this helps!

You need to get her in ASAP...She has some kind of infection, and if not treated right away, she could go blind...depending on what the infection is...You will get some ointment for her eyes from the vet. Use ALL of it. Don't only use it til' it goes away, and then stop, because the infection will more than likely come back.

I would take her in sooner to see what is wrong. Bright green stuff coming out of her eyes don't sound too good. You sure it's not drainage, like we get in the corner of our eyes? If it isn't, please take her sooner.

Yes you should take your dog in right away. It could be cherry eye or a very serious infection.
