Anytime someone is at the door she RUNS to it, and we have to use the jaws of like to hold her back! She has successfully escaped 4 times! Once she jumped on top of a trashcan then to behind the fence and was gone for about 5 min when we found her. Another she got off her leash on a walk and we got her after about 3 minutes. Another time she was gone for 4 hours and she had never left our cul-ede-sac!! She got out the front door once and my dad chased her for 2 miles! She is a pro at escaping!
I worry anytime I don't see her around, and I was wondering if I could train her somehow to not try to escape?

Don't worry, she gets at least two one hour walks/runs a day + lots of running around in the yard, chasing balls ect. She still has too much energy!

You need to take her to obedience class and train her to listen to you.
Sounds like she needs more exercise, too. She's running away because she's bored and has too much energy. Start doing things with her.

Teach her to sit and stay. When someone is going out the door put on a 'sit, stay'.
Another thing is to use a long line and when she bolts for the door she will be stopped cause she ran out of line. Someone need to hold the long line while another goes out the door. There should be enough length so she can gain force to her lunge but shot enough to stop her just before she reaches the door. Tell her 'NO' using her name and pull her back to where she started her run for the door. Someone needs to open the door as if they are leaving and repeat until she has learned that she can't get out that way.
For jumping the fence, attach a break away fence that the top of your fencing, Use 2 foot wide chicken wire. Don't fasten it down to stay cause you want her to reach the top and when she hits the break away fence she will just tumble back into her yard.

this sounds mean but you need to buy an electric fence its a wire that surrounds your yard and it comes with a collar and when she gets to close it will zap her it doesnt hurt them it just scares them you can try it on your arm before you put it on her first if you dont believe me i have one on my lab because she does the same thing, it does sound mean but she will learn after a few times not to go near the fence, and it will save her life if you live where she could get hit by a car. and on the front door buy a baby gate you know the ones that you can open and close that way you dont have to climb over a gate when you go in or out, put the gate between the front door and the screen door and then when she bangs into it she will hit the gate instead of the door, i have one for the same reason my lab jumps through the screen or opens the door with her nose. hope this helps

Realisitically, prepare, prepare and prepare some extra advantageous. than i might build a impressive, tall fence and actual build the fence into the floor approximately 6 to twelve inches to steer removed from digging or actual pour a concrete layer below your fence. Huskies are diggers, jumpers and all around houdinis. I had one that wouldnt stay indoors the outdoor no remember what i did. yet as properly, be advantageous to work out, lots!!!!! think of of roughly getting the substantial different and young toddlers canine into some style of agility or sledding of a few variety. I used to coach my husky and husky, shepard, pit mixture to tug carts and my bike as i might adventure around city. It replaced into large!!!! now no longer some thing like it. there are countless issues to do those days yet your husky will optimal likely have quite some means turning out to be up and that they choose an outlet for it or they must be unfavourable additionally. seek for advice from interior of sight breeders or enthusiasts and be conscious what could objective. yet you will prefer to coach, there is not any substitustion for coaching. good fulfillment

I would recomend seeking out a GOOD dog trainer, not a petsmart, store one. If you live in northern california I would recomend the K9 Clinic Lance Stackhouse is the best.
But a good trainer will be able to help you, by teaching your dog commands so that she lies down and stays while you open the door.

I would take her to obedience classes. Huskys are prone for running. I used to have one and he would climb the fence and take off running. They need lots of exercise and some training. Good Luck.

Tell her no when she goes to the door, or tell her, back. I have trained my Pug to get back when someone goes out the door. I'm always worried that she might get out when someone does. We live close to the road and she is small, so someone might hit her. Keep telling her no or back and she will listen. It takes time, but it worked for me.

Cut her legs off and chain her to a tree. Then place landmines around the tree.
