She is a 8 month old english springer spaniel, she keeps on jumping around everywhere taking things she shouldn't have, and chewing them up, she is refusing to do tricks (e.g sit, stay, down, wait etc) why is this happening?!?!?!

I'm looking for my first dog. I have a family of 4; 2 children in high school. We like to travel, about once to twice a year. Were usually on the go, and therefore need a dog that will go with us. It needs to be

small, compact

little to no grooming; no more than a weekly brushing and occational occurence, and annual haircuts.

Little to no excersise requirements, can't walk the day often but the dog will be able to roam about in a 3 story house and can be let out in backyard.

Little to no hereditary health defects

I'm hoping there is a dog out there for me. Please dont suggest a robotic or "fake" dog to me, as this is a real question therefore i'm wanting real answers. Thank you guys so much!

She is about 10 weeks old, and likes to chew on things, I found a scar mark which is small, and not very severe, but I like to be on the safe side, I have bandaged it with a band aid, and run it under hot water, should I be afraid of naything getting infected?
She has been to the vet for a check up a few days ago, she has no diseases or anything, what should I do?

My female rottie recently turned 14 months old. She is exceptionally well behaved in all areas but one.

She chewed the cord off the treadmill about a month ago, this morning (in her crate) she chewed the lamp cord, this afternoon she chewed a cord from inside the electric blanket, and this evening she chewed the cord on the heating pad. It doesn't seem to matter if she has someone with her or not.

I was blessed that none of these were plugged in. I moved the crate to an area free from ALL cords, I told her "no chew" and she knew she was in trouble, but I also know she will do it again.

She has a pug puppy and an adult Lab that she plays with all day long. She gets LOTS of exercise outdoors. I have offered her suitable chew toys, 4 types of Kong toys, bones, & tennis balls. (She DESTROYS all of these except the bones, which she has little interest in).

I know that dogs are killed from electrocution & don't want to lose my baby--she is my world.

Please advise.

My dog is a yr old. Stays outside, has a great yard, plenty of attention, eats good and has bones and toys and three other dogs to keep him company. But lately he has chewed up anything made of plastic outside. The hose, lawn furniture, knobs on the lawnmower, etc. I can never catch him in action. I have just about removed anything plastic. So, how do I break him of this habit?

About 3 weeks ago my dog was diagnosed with a spinal disease and became paralyzed in the back end overnight. The disease is cured and he's now healthy again and in no pain - he just can't use his back legs. I am waiting a few weeks to get a cart because there is a chance he may walk again. Right now I am using a sling for him to get around. He is a 2 year old Beagle mix and was pretty playful before this happened. Just wondering if anyone in the same situation or knew someone else taking care of a disabled animal, knew of any fun games or activities we could do within his limits to keep him happy and occupied. He's only two and I don't want his quality of life or happiness to diminish as a result of this. We got through the worst part together (pain and curing the disease) , I feel we can get through this part as well. We do a lot of phsical therapy every day but I want him to have some fun too. Any suggestions would help to keep him happy!! Thanks!
